Oh thank god that awful excuse for a cover was only the polybag. This other one is MUCH better.

Just viewed the Twitter page link, and sadly the poster is a bit bad, as it features the posters of the 3rd and 10th Doctors together on one side instead of separate posters, so that’s real annoying if like me you want to have the new ‘Magician’s Apprentice’ poster on your wall as well as the 3rd Doctor.

And no, I would not buy multiple copies of the same magazine just to have both sides of the same poster on my wall, cos that would feel wrong if someone else also wanted to buy a copy and there was only 2 available, that would be greedy.

Interestingly thou, in the new TV Times, Michelle Gomez said that a 12 year old boy and herself reached for the last issue of DWM in a shop, the boy said to her “you look a lot like Missy” and he then dropped the magazine on the floor when she said to him “that’s because I am” 😀

It looks like to me that the Special Weapons Dalek has lights on his dome.

Not actually on it’s dome, but the square bits just below it’s dome are shown to light up.

Who says it doesn’t, he’s only been in the show about 20.5 seconds so far (20 in remembrance, 0.5 in Asylm)

I think there’s some of the tie-in books but as we all know, it’s not canon until its been broadcast.

I love the format of exciting epic polybag with a beautifully simplistic cover underneath. It works well, and it means that the cover doesn’t have to be covered by details like contents and barcode, and can have a neat, plain and aesthetically pleasing design which displays nicely.

Wow. They cut out some pictures of some daleks and a picture of Peter Capaldi and stuck them on a grey background. I am impressed. Seriously though even I could’ve done better than that!

Yeah, and it’s the correct planet this time around, not Spiridon which off course as not the actual planet of the Daleks in that 1973 classic of that very title 😀
