Doctor Who Legends of Ashildr Hardback

Ashildr, a young Viking girl, died helping the Doctor and Clara to save the village she loved. And for her heroism, the Doctor used alien technology to bring her back to life. Ashildr is now immortal – The Woman Who Lived.

Since that day, Ashildr has kept journals to chronicle her extraordinary life. The Legends of Ashildr is a glimpse of some of those stories: the terrors she has faced, the battles she has won, and the treasures she has found.

These are tales of a woman who lived longer than she should ever have lived – and lost more than she can even remember.

An original novel featuring the Twelfth Doctor as played by Peter Capaldi, and Ashildr as played by Maisie Williams.

They should make a sequel and it could do with clara and then the third would be jack and it would be classed as the immortal series

This could be interesting! Ashildr must have a lot of adventures between The Girl Who Died and The Woman who Lived. Only a few are touched on in the latter episode. And what happens between then and “Sleep No More” ?

Also, does the book cover between “The Woman Who Lived” and “Sleep no More” , “The Girl Who Died” and “The Woman Who Lived”, or both?

It’s four short stories. Two of them come from Ashildr’s own Diary Chronicles supposedly & the other two are supposed to be stories handed down through the generations. All are set in different distinct time periods with some reasoning on Ashildr’s own background & backstory. They take place after “The Woman Who Lived” but before “Face The Raven”

Who else thinks that they should make a spin-off show about Clara and Me in a, not the, Tardis?

It literally says ‘featuring the Twelfth Doctor as played by Peter Capaldi’ in the description so, yes, I would guess so…

Have just finished reading the novel and despite the blurb above the 12th Dr does NOT feature in the book at all. Was a bit disappointing.

On Amazon it only listed the three of them under the author listing, that’s why. Jenny Colgan only appears in the description, which I had not read.

yeah I must have read the same synopsis – a bit bad to put that out before the episode airs, could be a red herring or theres more to her than what the blurb says. Either way im looking forward to the episodes, always like the ones set in the past with an alien element. Now Julius Ceasar put that time ring down!!

Well that takes the sting out of all those weird rumours of her being River, Missy, Clara, the Rani or any other female charaters that have been in the show.
