Its all getting a little headted in here today isnt it lol ! For what its worth I listen to 17 DW related Podcasts and they are hosted by people from Australia, USA, Canada and the UK (If I’ve left any out I’m sorry !). This show is bigger than all the fans put together and I for one am not in the least bothered who sees it 1st or who gets what magazine…the show is bigger than that and as fans we need to rise above these insignificant niggles and show the world TOGETHER how brilliant this amazing, awesome, incredible show is !

American DW Fan – Dont worry, im British and i know that Americans are not trying to take over Doctor Who. To be honest im rather glad that you guys in the States have our greatest ever TV Series [ wait, what am i saying ?, it’s IS the GREATEST EVER TV SERIES . . . . in the World !! : D } in your Country, which just goes to show you dont all end up watching your own Sci-Fi and Fantasy Shows like Star Trek, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Stargate SG-1, Angel etc. Still from what ive heard over time, so many of you Americans absolutely love us…

I live in the USA. I live with the insults of all my school peers!
I feel insulted about how people in the UK think we should not have Doctor Who here. We are not trying to take it over! We did not even get the DW DS and Wii games! We cannot all see the DW Experience. We did not get to see DW live. I still love the DW magazine!!! I will sign up for both!

Be nice! Not on peron at my school even like doctor who as much as me!

DW is amazing but people here do not always want to see it. I would hate to see an American remake of DW!!!!!

I dont think its that you shouldn’t have it, what’s getting people “going” i think is that some stuff is starting to appear in the USA first, for example the recent classic figures have been on sale in the USA before here, you have a definite official air date for series 6 and some promo pics and DVD covers we are just not seeing here yet. It doesn’t bother me but to a small number people it looks like the USA are starting to get priority in some areas, that’s what’s winding a few people up but remember they’re in the minority.

They should be glad as its success in America and around the world will help to insure its future.

People should be nice about it, these small issues are licensing and delivery issues and not the fault of the fans.

look im not completely miffed that usa have dw BUT i think you guys should have to wait at least until a seasons over here before you get to watch it in us like we do with all your shows. its only FAIR. P.S i had to wait so long like a year for smallville season 10 in the uk.

Why should we care if DW is popular in he USA or not? Its us British licence payers who pay for the show and thats that. Without a UK audience, there is no DW.

This comment is hurtful and unnecessary. We’re not here to bash each other, so please be peaceful with your comments.
DW fans come from all over the world so it doesn’t matter where they are from. As long as we, the Doctor Who fans of the world still love and enjoy watching this great show, it will still live on. Doctor Who fans are cool!

Pup Benny – It is basicly an American version of DWM.

Doc 12 – No, the Americans are not trying to take over Doctor Who, not sure what gave you that idea, but as it says above, Doctor Who insider is officially licenced by BBC Worldwide so it’s really just another UK Magazine but just sold in America . . . . well, something like that.

Annoys me abit that each issue of DWI will come with double sided Posters, yet with DWM you only get one once in a blue moon, but hey, if it helps Doctor Who dominate America, what the hell !! : D
