I think this is pretty Original. I’ve seen it now, but why on earth would I expect there to be a Tardis inside just because there’s one on the outside? It’s a bit like expecting there to be a Dalek in my mug with a Dalek on the outside. I wish that would happen but alas!. Nice gadget, really lovely surprise even for non fans.

‘unwitting’ not really… There’s a big TARDIS on the outside. Also it’s not going to be that much of a shock, by the way they are talking about it you would think there’s a tarantula down there. Probably won’t get.

How would a big Tardis on the outside tell people there is one inside?

Well they would know it’s something to do with doctor who at least which kind of gives away what’s in there.

but how would an unsuspecting person know there is something in there?

I speak form experience because it was done to me – someone gave me a cup of coffee with a frog on the outside – i never thought for one minuet there would be one on the inside ( and i did not know it was a frog, you just see the top of something sticking out the top which is the unexpected shock part)

Me personally it would be bad. When I pull a ‘prank’ as it were I act really suspicious so they will be able to tell something is going on really quickly with me.

yeah if I a mug with an image of a cat on it was given to me not for one second I would think there is a cat in it

the people you pull a prank will think it is just a normal doctor mug

I was talking about me personally, if I were to give this to you, you would know something was going on.

Seems a tad bit silly calling it a ‘Hidden Tardis Mug’ when the Tardis herself in on the outside of the mug making it kinda obvious.

If it was a plain black mug with the Tardis inside, you’d think a friend was just handing you a drink in a plain mug and therefore wouldn’t think nothing else of it.
