Are there any further details about the stories in this book?

Do we have any idea as to where these short stories are coming from? For example either Big Finish’s or the BBC’s short trips, or the Doctor Who Files books, or the annuals, or somewhere else?

I was just about to comment on the same thing. But I suppose the Slitheen could ‘represent his era’.

      Why do they always leave out the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th Doctors?

It’s because they aren’t currently ‘relevant’. Capaldi is the current Doctor, Matt was the previous Doctor, and David recently appeared in the 50th. Believe me, if Eccleston had been in the special, he’d be in this cover.

It specifically says on the cover that its about the last ten years, so having pics of Doctors 1 to 8 on the cover would make no sense given they don’t appear, it’d be like Wolverine all over again. Eccleston was in the last 10 years however, meaning he should appear here.

Well I didn’t see tgat specific bit, but – I was talking about merchandise in general. He said ‘why do they ALWAYS’ mean more than just this – I was just explaining why Eccleston hardly appears in merchandise anymore.
