These are seriously excellent – who would have thought we would ever have a figurine of characters like the Daffodil Auton and that Sutekh figure is just gorgeous! More Tom Baker era figurines are hopefully on the way especially the perhaps less obvious choices such as Eldrad, Styggron, the Collector and I would just love to see a Nimon figure! A Shrivenzale special would be very cool too…

Really very impressed with that Sutekh figurine! Best pose chosen for the figure and the sculpting and painting on that mask looks first class. My favourite of what’s shown. The chief clown from TGSITG looks really good too. Well done Eaglemoss! Love that clown’s pose! No ideas on the shaded figure yet, but enjoying the mystery.. How about a Macra, given the animation is on its way?

no daleks this time, what a shame. I hope we can get a skaro dalek from revelation, a glass dalek, a dead planet dalek with cutter attatchment, renegade dalek or a junkyard scrap dalek before the collection ends.
Can they make up daleks? i’d really like to see a renegade time war prototype dalek from the fan animation “dalek chronicles echoes of war” I really don’t want to have to put up with my half baked custom. I painted a bronze 3.75″ gunmetal grey with black orbs, cut the ears in half and sanded them to make them look like the classic ears and tried putting on a genesis dalek 3.75 base but would only fit half of at the back. I had to saw off a lot of the innards and remove the wheels of the base to get the base to half fit but the skirt pivot won’t slot in, it’s too damn wide.

We can’t make up Daleks (although I would love to)

The glass Dalek from Revelation is sadly unlikely because the process to make the figurines doesn’t work for glass or anything transparent. We have *seriously* looked into this, and continue to do so.

    • Kevin

      January 21st, 2019 - 3:22pm

There’s plenty of Dalek’s still to be made, just look at the new ones, we still need an assault version & Dalek Thay…, then there’s the paradym issues, need the proper red & blue versions for starters plus then yellow & orange, there’s always the iron side without ear covers & plus the imperial guard Dalek with just a normal ray gun & that’s just for starters…, older series Dalek’s have various versions still needing doing just the grey versions alone but I’ll stop there, plenty to be getting into the collection please. 🙂

      January 21st, 2019 - 10:42pm

Oh well, worth an ask. It’s a shame the paradigm dalek drone and strategist used the original paradigm sculpt instead of the reduced hunchback and back panel recession as seen in asylum. Nobody has done that type of dalek yet, not even character. We got a proper necros dalek with the neck gap and width, imperial dalek and renegade supreme with the same widths and the ressurection supreme with elongated skirt. I wander why the paradigms weren’t revised in much the same way, that would’ve been a fantastic precedent.

The problem is the scale of 1:21. I think for the glass Dalek, using plastics or resin materials would be too fragile if made thin enough to be in scale, or far too thick and out of scale if made strong enough.

Even a larger sized Special Edition version might not be big enough to be viable.

The only way I can see one being made would be in the Mega size range (like the recent K9 and the earlier Cyberman + Dalek figures). Made as a really limited edition – pre-order just to gauge the level of interest.?

kudos to the design team and sculptors – the upcoming figures are getting more detailed. Just hope the paintwork can keep pace as well.

Same here. Ordered on day of release, not recieved it. But I know they (for some reason) decided to cance my order and re-order it again, with the set being out of stock at the time they did that, they removed it from myy order and refunded me, and refused to keep it order for when they (ever) get it back in again.

This is all very well, but I have had a nightmare of a time trying to get the Console & the Companion Sets 1-3. At the moment I haven’t seen their availability anywhere (Or at least in stock to buy?) that I haven’t actually got any of them yet. I haven’t seen any decent pictures of the actual boxed sets or the magazines they come with either? It’s great we can see all these wonderful figures just a pity we can’t get them!

It always pays to order items like companion sets as soon as they become available, if money isn,t an Issue. Some have said they have not yet been able to get the 10th/ Rose sets. They are bound to come available at some point. The console was available last time i checked Eaglemoss shop.

Not had a problem getting any of them, in fact 3 of the 4 are in stock right now on the eaglemoss website.

There are also discount codes and offers all the time to get money off featured on this site.

      January 20th, 2019 - 8:18pm

They made an absolute mess of the 10/Rose deliveries (failing to send out any of the pre-orders from October, and then sending out all their stock on the December orders). No amount of discount codes are going to make up for that.

    • Richard Burgess

      January 20th, 2019 - 8:54pm

I’d ordered 13 and 10/Rose as pre orders. Emailed, no response. Phoned, told they were out of stock. Offered discount on future orders or refund. I accepted refund, days later 13 arrives. Then follow up email saying order had been sent, but still no 10/Rose. I guess another half hour wait on the phone is inevitable!

I know we’ve had 2 figurines each of the first 4 Doctors in the main range but if the collection ends at 180, I think I’d rather have the Doctors stick to the companion sets so we can have more monsters and villains. What do others think?

    • the ergon

      January 20th, 2019 - 5:57pm

Even if this range were to end at 180 as single releases, theres no reason why they couldn,t carry it one with twin packs IE: magnus greel/Mr. Syn, Voc/ supervoc etc as well as ‘special’ themed sets.

Who knows? Theres a good year and a half+ before we get that far, allowing them time if they did decide to apply to extend their licence. I,m not sure how far in advance these things are done.

Oh my Gosh. These figurines are so good. I might have to move house to make room for all the stuff in collecting.
I agree with others. That shaded space is the Valeyard.
Well done to Neil and everyone at Eaglemoss. It’s nice to see in a time of such a divided fandom that things like this can unite us all in a good way.

Exciting stuff….very happy to see Sil….if that shaded out one IS the Valeyard then the 6th Doctor Era, specifically Trial season, is being quite well served in this block. Are there any other ‘specials’ out during this run of characters other than Drathro? Have we had a Abominable Snowman yet? Gonna throw a wild guess for that blanked figure…Rastan Warrior Robot 😉

My guess? For the 150th it has to be something really special, so it isn’t going to be something like The Valeyard and we already know the companions are not part of the main range, so it won’t be Rose or Nardole. I think it might be the Stengos Dalek from Revelation. It would be a figure that the general public would see as collectible (being a Dalek) as well as being one that has been repeatedly requested by subscribers.

Does anybody know which story that Jamie’s from? I’m guessing the companion packs will be from The Empty Child for 9 and Jack and Smile for 12 and Bill? As for the mystery figure, I reckon the Valeyard or the Monk…or maybe it is Missy and Neil’s just playing tricks?

    • Gareth Pugh

      January 23rd, 2019 - 8:15am

I *think* – but not 100% sure – Jamie wore that beige shirt and kilt outfit (without some form of body warmer and neck-wear, as shown here) in Tomb and the next story Abominable Snowmen. The matter would be a good choice to focus on as it would give them a hook to do a fur-coat 2nd Doctor.

You could be right werewolf. Its just the extension from the base and the way its shaped, though that is most likely intentional to keep us guessing.

I share The Werewolf’s hunch on this. Someone on another forum has done a bit of photo trawling and the overall shape of this would seem to closely fit a particularly well-used photo of the character with cloak billowing out in the wind.
