Despite nothing from customer services (have complained on Facebook page) the website has been updated, with things like stock locator and a survey (hope its different to test one and they take the feedback into account). Most interesting is the new FAQ entries which state

“Every 10 issues, one Dalek will be included with your standard subs delivery” ” You will start paying the extra £1.00p from issue 2 onwards, if you start your subscription at a later issue you just have to pay an additional £1.00p per issue for the issues you have missed.

You have to pay an extra 1 to get the 7 Daleks but for how long. An extra pound for the length of your subscription just for 7 Daleks? or is it for the first 7 issues only?

Eaglemoss have relased another behind the scenes trailer named the final, although it looks like its the same as before: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JptIumE_BsE

to see the end result you can watch the TV add that has been uploaded and will be shown on TV: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uX8xKd0UImY

On a side note so glad Neil Corey is the editor of this collection as it means that we won’t get any (careless) mistakes like in the magazine element for the DVD files.

Debating whether to get the premium subscription, but working this out in my head the stand will probably come separate so that would be 8 instalments over 80 issues so it would probably be every ten issues and that’s £10 per dalek and £80 extra over all and over a very long time, hmm, anybody? What should I do?

personally i am going for the lot from day one just to be on the safe side so to speak.

it is £10 an item but picking them up later might be difficult

    • Scott

      August 14th, 2013 - 1:03pm

Yeah I suppose and I would regret missing out on them, I think I may go for the premium subscription, I could always cancel and then re-subscribe if I change my mind after the first few daleks to the basic subscription

I’m sorry that I never subscribed to the James Bond collection…they are going for insane money now…also going premium with this…not only going to be a stand-out collection, but it’s going to be a huge investment too.

Looks like the have also changed the cover for issue judging by the picture on this website ( http://www.inpublishing.co.uk/news/articles/partwork_launch_doctor_who_figurine_collection_6304.aspx )

It can’t be true as surely they would start the timeline at 1963 and not 1964

I know I had my little rant about how I wouldn’t be getting these, but I’m now starting to have second thoughts!

So I was wondering if anyone could help me with a question I have. If I was to buy the first few issues in the shops so that I could see what I thought of them, would I still be able to subscribe from a later issue and get all the premium Daleks, plus the free gifts?

If nobody knows, could someone who has a Facebook account please ask Eaglemoss on there. Thanks 😀

i have ask them just that, its quite a valid question if they only run 80 issues, i would have though you would have had to subscribe from day one to gain everything

    • Booboo Jr

      August 11th, 2013 - 6:54pm

No idea, but given the 80 issue run, probably around issue 10 or issue 20 (most likely the latter though, it depends when they send out the special Dalek stand and I’d expect that would be the first delivery so people stay on for the Daleks).

Hello BooBoo, Do you think will there be some daleks in the normal subscription as well as the £1 extra one ? I have worked out that 80 £1 extra issues means £80 for seven exclusive daleks and its alot of my pocket money gone., but will pay if thats the only way i can get any daleks- thank you

The extra ones seem to be the more unusual variants

Yes, this is confirmed on the website. It says there are Daleks in the main range but these Daleks will not be included in them and the only way to obtain them is through the premium subscription.
