yes, if you subscribe you get The Emperor Dalek regardless and one display stand and binder and the digital edition.

i am sure you will be able to buy extras anyway if you want them, you only tick the boxes to get them automatically.

You will miss out on The Rare Daleks though

On the website for me don’t tick the boxes to if you want to Recieve the 7 Daleks does this mean I won’t get them then because I hope I will?!

    • booboo

      August 7th, 2013 - 10:29pm

you have to tick the box at the top of the page saying which subscription you want

Option 1: Standard subscription with 4 superb FREE gifts

Option 2: Premium subscription with 4 superb FREE gifts PLUS the 7 additional Dalek models – only £1.00 extra per issue!

you will have had to tick one of them?

the boxes at the bottom are for the automatic extras, you tick these only if you DONT want them

the special issues referred to here are not the Daleks

Ok thanks phew I ticked the Premium Subscription box with the 7 Daleks does this mean I will Recieve them?

no i can see how people might think them mentioning special issues at the bottom might be connected to the Daleks but its quite separate

  • CONNORTHEDOCTOR

Booboo I have bought doctor who figures from the first 5 inch figure released, do you think selling all of them to subscribe to every issue of this is worth it?

    • booboo

      August 7th, 2013 - 9:35pm

it’s depends, these are just for display where as you can play with and pose the 5″, difficult choice

    • CONNORTHEDOCTOR

      August 8th, 2013 - 1:50pm

Are these same height as 3.75 figs?

    • booboo

      August 8th, 2013 - 1:52pm

      Very similar but slightly smaller

Some like Davros look fine with them

    • CONNORTHEDOCTOR

      August 8th, 2013 - 7:33pm

Oh my mum said they’re smaller than lego figs cos it says 1:21 so I didn’t want to get any if they’re that small

    • booboo

      August 8th, 2013 - 7:40pm

They are much bigger than Lego

    • Anonymous

      August 8th, 2013 - 7:42pm

Going by the website Davros is 8cm tall which is just over three inches tall. Gives you a rough idea of the size.

      August 8th, 2013 - 8:04pm

I would say stick with the ones you feel you will get the most enjoyment out of in your collection. if you like posing the 5″ ones then stick with them but if you want these in your collection to display as collectables then I would take time to decide properly before selling bits as the last thing you want is to regret it. you could get one issue of the figurines and decide from that if you like them enough? hope this helps

They say on their website the subscriber Daleks are made from a “metallic resin” so I’d presume all the figures are.

assuming they stick to 80 issues

      £555.20 for the standard issues

      £634.20 for the Dalek Upgrade

      all over approx 3 years

excludes any extra stands or binders

    • WouldYouLikeAJellyBaby

      August 7th, 2013 - 11:44am

Thanks hopefully my Mum will subscribe to it tonight and pay the £634.20 for the Dalek Upgrade. I don’t think she has seen the pric yet though. 🙄

    • booboo

      August 7th, 2013 - 11:48am

it sounds a lot when you look at it in one go

those who subscribed to the DVD files and stuck with it have paid over £800 so far

with the mag and the figure at £6.99 in thinks that fine, the monsters look great but i think “Human” characters may be a bit hit and miss

    • WouldYouLikeAJellyBaby

      August 7th, 2013 - 11:53am

Yes I used to subscribe to Doctor Who Adventures when it first came out but I stopped after Issue 200 as they kept including squirty Sonic Screwdrivers nearly every issue. Now I don’t subscribe to anything and have 200 DWA comics dotted all around my house ripped.

    • WouldYouLikeAJellyBaby

      August 7th, 2013 - 12:03pm

booboo will you be subscribing to this? And what Issue do you think looks the best?

    • booboo

      August 7th, 2013 - 12:06pm

i subscribed originally and got up to issue 3 but had already bought up to issue 5 locally anyway

been told subscriptions are still valid but like others i am hearing nothing for Eaglemoss

    • WouldYouLikeAJellyBaby

      August 7th, 2013 - 12:13pm

Are people having problems subscribing then?

    • booboo

      August 7th, 2013 - 12:21pm

not as such, there is just a lack of communication, or appears to be.

    • WouldYouLikeAJellyBaby

      August 7th, 2013 - 12:26pm

Oh someone at School who I know subscribes to Batman Automobilia and he tells me that lots of people have been having trouble with receiving Issues broken or months late. I just find it a shame and disgusting how people subscribe to a Magazine that costs hundreds of pounds to find their getting poor customer service.

    • booboo

      August 7th, 2013 - 12:29pm

yet they are still adding new collections such as this and the star trek ships

seems strange they cant sort it

    • WouldYouLikeAJellyBaby

      August 7th, 2013 - 12:33pm

Because my friend paid extra of some Limited Edition Models he has so far received 2 of the 3 broken but has luckily got replacements now, do Eaglemoss have a Facebook page for this btw. Really hope what’s happening with Batman Automobilia doesn’t happen here. 🙁

    • booboo

      August 7th, 2013 - 12:34pm

they do but no a specific one for this which i’m sure the will have

    • WouldYouLikeAJellyBaby

      August 7th, 2013 - 12:38pm

      Ok thanks. 🙂

    • INJUSTICE

      August 7th, 2013 - 1:27pm

yeah but apart from the broken 3 models its all going well so far but like I said on my other comment it could all change and all go down hill :/ I feel sorry for everyone that are having problems I know it can be frustrating especially when your paying £800 and not receiving them on time and also broken 🙁 I paid a bit more for the limited edition models so I think it came to £820 I can not remember but something like that?

    • Anonymous

      August 7th, 2013 - 1:33pm

The problem is, Eaglemoss aren’t the ones sending things out. They make the magazines and organise everything. They then get another company to deal with distribution and subscription and they seem to make a mess of every single magazine Eaglemoss has ever produced.

Bit of a shame really, but you’d think after so many complaints over so many magazines they’d have done something about it by now.

I think I’ll buy just the issues that appeal to me –

    The Doctors
    Davros
    Daleks
    Cybermen
    Omega
    Rassilon

Would be nice if they do one about the Tardis. It would be wrong to not do one of the old girl.

i Know this is a figurine collection but i would love it included the likes of Bessie, who mobile if possible

    • Anonymous

      August 7th, 2013 - 11:42am

Well there aren’t enough vehicles to allow for a range of their own, so perhaps they could include them as extra large figures.

I know with their Marvel collection there were a few separate smaller ranges running alongside every so often, like the “specials” (which were larger than normal figures), “mega specials” (which were the far larger characters, but scaled down further to make them feasible but still bigger than even the specials) and some double packs.

By the sounds of that questionnaire, all three are possible with this range too.

Does anybody know if, let’s say for example that the exclusive Daleks come out every 5 issues (for example) with the bonus subscription, if you decided to subscribe at issue 11, where 2 of the Daleks would of already have been released, would you receive them along with issue 11 or would you miss out on them and just be able to receive the following 5 Daleks.

I had a subscription to Eaglemoss’ Batman Automobilia collection; it was an unhappy experience to say the least. Several issues turned up months late. They have confirmed that they often do not receive sufficient stock to supply subscribers at the time of release. I’m still waiting for two items. I also had several items arrive damaged at the point of manufacture. I would strongly advise anyone considering a sub to check out the Facebook page for the Batman collection – lots of unhappy customers with genuine grievances.

Have to agree with you Andy – I have had 4 subscriptions through this company. Such a pity I won’t be getting the Daleks – A brilliant collection & fantastic figures let down by awful subscription problems…

    • Moid

      August 6th, 2013 - 11:07pm

I ticked the box saying I will be getting the whole lot with the extra daleks, but at the moment I have not worked out how it will be possible for me financially. I also want a subscription to DW Mag and Big Finish audio main range, plus most of the new twin packs and a couple of SFX2 daleks. We’re talking hundreds of pounds without all the other stuff that’s coming out. Depressing. I’m a dalek man too, so don’t want to miss those figurines. Not very confident in the company, judging by some comments.
