Well, National Title File (a sort of early-warning spreadsheet for the newsagent’s trade) is now showing 120 as the total number, and Ben Robinson has tweeted that they have been drawing up plans of what they’d cover if they go beyond 150 issues, so I think it’s a safe bet this series is going to be going on for a good while yet. Eaglemoss collections often do run for a long time – Lord of the Rings eventually reached 180, and their original Marvel figurines part work topped out at 200 issues.

Does eaglemoss know that the second doctor didn’t just face the cybermen

      July 3rd, 2016 - 3:01am

If there’s only going to be 110 issues and we’ve been given the list to 90 that only leaves 20 and if you considered that in every 10 issues there is at least 1 dalek and 1 cybermen that only leaves 16 figures and there is so many classic figures that could be done

I can see this collection going way beyond 110 as got all the masters to do

  • LastOfTheSonics

    June 28th, 2016 - 7:46pm

The fact that the original run was planned for 71 issues, then 100, and now it’s 110 really does reflect that there is such high demand for this collection. We’re already beyond 71! I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they increased it to even more issues. There’s alot of demand, and alot of figurines that people want. Missy and a Classic Auton seem to have high demand at the moment.

Does anyone know anything after Issue 80? The furthest issue that I know of is issue 80 itself, the Wheel in Space cyberman.

There is a Vervoid which I think is either 81 or 82 (see Ben Robinson’s twitter for image) and there’s the Mechanoid special. Those are all that are known for sure no (aside from the fact that the Masters will all be done.

I agree with you and Anonymous I can see Eagle moss extending yet again provided there’s a demand and they get the licence permissions. Does anyone think its a bad Idea to keep going?

My only disappointment is that the Companions were never intended as part of the set.
Perhaps there could be a follow up set? I live in hope, LOL.

    • booboo

      July 25th, 2016 - 2:07pm

I’m happy to keep going as long as its viable

my only personal view is that human characters dont do that well at this scale, dont mind a few but wouldn’t want it over run with them at the expence of monsters.

there is a whole world of them still out there that have never been released in any form and this may be their only chance

  • Ray Stephenson

    June 27th, 2016 - 12:33pm

I’m shocked its taken this long to do something based on Pyramids Of Mars (unless you count the Doctor). The story is probably one of the few liked by most, if not all fans. In fact, I’ve never seen anyone rate it less than an 8.
