Doctor Who Experience 2012 Merchandise

Doctor Who Experience 2012 Merchandise

The Doctor Who experience is now open in Cardiff. Part of the “merchandise” ticket price includes various items including t shirts and souvenirs.

The Shop has the usual Doctor Who items along with some exclusive T shirts, mugs and Phone covers.

The Souvenir brochure: Like the previous London version this is a very high quality brochure. Includes articles on the restoration of props, the Doctors Costumes and a brief history of the Doctors themselves. This also includes some 3D images for which glasses are supplied.

In the Exhibition itself is a machine which will turn a penny (which you supply) into a stamped metal plaque…

The T Shirt supplied, there are many different versions on sale in the shop…

The compulsory carrier bag…

I contacted Andrew Walker (Event Retail & Merchandise Manager) at the Cardiff Experience. He says their Online Website will “..offer Merchandise & is under development & will be ready by Christmas” he also says they “..have discussed a proposal with BBCShop.com to put some of the Merchandise online which should be taking place over August”

So those that can’t get to the Experience should have some chance of getting Merchandise (Maybe even an Exclusive Figure?) Online?

Thanks for the look at the merchandise! Is that the shirt that comes with the merch ticket, or do you get to pick from a selection of shirts?

I wonder if they’ll ahve a new version of the show, when Amy and Rory are out of it, maybe they will get Matt Smith to re-film it.

Then again, he is a timetraveller so it won’t HAVE to feature the current companion of the time. 😉

I think i will go next year as i have been to the london one twice, and most recent the doctor who convention in wales. Atleast i will see the series 7 monsters.

Plus the merchandise is all the same. and they seem to have not decided whether to use the new look logo or the previous. It just seems a bit odd to me thats all. Anyway banting aside still love the coin!!!! 🙂

Just seen a vid on YouTube of some one who went yesterday, and there is no Vasta nerada, pig slave, Sycorax, Gas mask zombies…These were all here before so where have they gone?

Hopefully they will be adding them soon, but it’s not fair on the people who baught the tickets in advance for the 1st day.

There were a lot of new small props but nothing much else, the silent ship was great and there was a lot there we hadn’t seen before which was added in London after we went originally , they will continuously add stuff from series 7 no doubt.

There were lot of people today and lot of queuing for some but the monsters were keeping people entertained.
