The Doctor’s multipurpose tool is a Gallifreyan device, with numerous settings, easily controlled at the press of his thumb.
The Doctor has had many sonic screwdrivers of different designs throughout his life and now you can choose from four previous iconic designs.
The collection includes The Third Doctor, The Fourth Doctor’s, The Tenth Doctor’s and River Song’s Future Sonic that all feature realistic sound FX.
The Tenth’s Doctor’s Sonic and River’s Future Sonic feature also feature light FX. Four to collect. One Supplied. Requires 3 x L1154 batteries (included). For ages 5 years and over.

June 20th, 2013 - 12:23amThe only good ones are the 3rd and 4ths luckily I went to worlds apart and they were selling old merchandis and u got the old version of rivers already had the 3rd but I got the new 4th and it is amazing do get it it is supreme

June 17th, 2013 - 5:44amThis re-issue is a waste. If you can, go for the earlier production runs of this screwdriver. The re-issue features no lights in the neural relay and no red setting, both of which were there in the older runs.

May 29th, 2013 - 10:24amI think it just has the blue LED. Also i’m not not sure if it haves the ink nib that keeps falling out, but i don’t see why it would as it’s not swappable- it only comes with one ink nib

May 31st, 2013 - 7:35pmSadly it’s not a production error, I’ve made enquired to both the BBC and character options and neither could give me a valid reason, both the words “cost” and “time” were frequently repeated which I took to mean “it would have cost us too much time that we could be making money so we cut corners”

I thought these we’re re-issues not scaled down re-releases, Does the 10th Doctor’s have both SFX?

May 20th, 2013 - 5:27pmTo anyone wondering, I got the Pertwee one today, and it sadly still has the new series sound, but a good thing for most collectors, is you can easily keep these in the box just make sure to remove the sticky of the tape when removing. Looks great in the box as a display piece 🙂

They were selling for £12 each, I should have got one, I looked at rivers I couldn’t really tell if it had two bulbs, has anyone got any yet? Have the sounds been changed/corrected in the classic ones?

May 4th, 2013 - 2:10pmOnce again, Character has not made the 10th doctors screwdriver with the button on the slider. I mean, you could use the Future sonic screwdriver’s method of changing batteries, twisting the cap, then changing it, instead of Screwdrivers and Screws… 😕

Well, reissues make no diffrence when you live in Asia. No retailer here carries it.
Well there is 1 or 2… But those are aftermarket collector shops that ask around 40+ pounds per screwdriver. 😐

April 27th, 2013 - 7:23pmDoes anyone think they are going to buy two and keep one in packaging, I don’t usually do it but they look nice in the packaging, and I can imagine 50 years later seeing these being very rare in packaging 50th anniversary Sonic Screwdrivers, especially the classic ones. Also does anyone know if they will have correct sounds? Or are they putting the new series one in the classic one again?

May 2nd, 2013 - 11:52amHonestly if you are gonna keep something in packaging, it’s worth tracking down the 1st release packing.
Or in the case of the 10th doctor, the EOT packing is nice too. Some sellers on Amazon US still offer the original packing variant, which is pretty cool.
