Might be a bit pricey, but i know i’m getting one!

You know there are some big differences between the Series 5 and Sereis 6 Tweed jacket. For action figure of the Series 6 Doctors, character have had to use the Series 5 jacket because the Series 6 one is a different sculpt (the Lapels are different) and the Series 6 one has got three buttons were as the Series 5 only has two.

      :O

“The 5th doctor costume comes complete with Jacket, cricket jumper, hat and trousers.”

according to the official Cesar website the accessory pack includes jumper / shirt and hat, the basic costume is the jacket, trousers & plastic celery corsage.

  14. Posted by: RichardParkin February 22nd, 2011 Reply

Just had it confirmed from Forbidden Planet that:

“The 5th doctor costume comes complete with Jacket, cricket jumper, hat and trousers.”

So you DON’T get the shirt in the deal. I believe that this might be available in a separate accessory pack.

Much though I’d love to have this costume, I fear that it will be disappointingly cheap-looking in the end; especially when you consider how cheap the costume is retailing at.

  15. Posted by: Lea February 18th, 2011 Reply

that sounds cool I hope they have some for children

  18. Posted by: McGann is the Doctor. February 11th, 2011 Reply

    -Hey me too!!
I bet they will do, if the first ones sell well. The BBC has sold the rites for the character design of the 4th and 5th, but also, the 7th Doctors to these guys. Just take A LOOK ON FORBIDDEN PLANET theres the mugs, tin-tote (bit small but still pretty cool) and its all about the 4/5/7 incarnations image.

If they make the 7th Doc into a costume I would love such a turn of fate, because theres suc han attractiveness and
appealingness and a ‘ ‘ness about that costume. Question-mark pullover anyone?

  19. Posted by: Dalek caan February 10th, 2011 Reply

Wonderful!- Problem though: I’ll be dressed as the Doctor for all time…I’d never take the costume off!!! People would say, “Bring Thomas back!” but I would boom out a thunderous Tom baker laugh and say, “I’m The Doctor now!” and go and fetch my K9 remote control dog  . I’m 20 and so very mature lol. Being 20, I must say I love those assistant outfits…

Wouldint mind the 5th Doctor one : D

Would be cool if there will be costumes of the 3rd and 10th Doctors, and maybe one of the Brigadiers U.N.I.T. Uniforms, complete with fake mostache like the one Nick used to wear during the Classic Series in the 70′s [ yes, for those of you who didint know, Nicks mostache in stories like Day of the Daleks was a fake, i think the DVD commentary on the Three Doctors mentioned it, or maybe the Green Death].

Notice how for the companions they chose sexy ones. Not ones such as Romana who would be better costumes.

  43. Posted by: Bzb23 February 8th, 2011 Reply

Wow! The Davison one looks brilliant but the Baker skarf is rubbish! (The rest of it’s ok) and the companions are great!
