In the midst of the Time War, the Daleks surround the planet Gallifrey with their saucer ships and battle hardened Patrol Ships pummelling the surface.

dalek-solo

The War Doctor – an hitherto-unknown “hidden” incarnation of the Doctor, decides to trigger an ancient weapon of mass destruction called “The Moment”, which will destroy both the Time Lord and the Dalek races completely.

patrol-ship-2

The Eleventh Doctor advises of plans to place Gallifrey in stasis and hide it outside of regular time and space. As the Daleks surround the planet ready to obliterate it, the three Doctors reveal they have recruited their past selves, and as well as a future incarnation, the planet is dematerialised to safety as the Daleks annihilate themselves in their own crossfire.

patrol-ship-5

Underground toys appear to be distributing a different version of the ship in the USA. Its unclear if it will be available in the UK.

Pre-Ordered from FP Com so hopefully should turn up next week. Be nice if the ‘Stealth’ variant was available in the UK at some point?

it should be in stock as of yesterday , I have ordered mine from there because i thought they would be the quickest but none have been sent out yet

some stores had these on the day of announcement, the dates seem all over the place

I’m pleased that it’s only £20 on FP/FPI, because £30 on Amazon is VERY steep. £20 is about right I think.

I hope they release this into a 5 inch figure because that would be awesome. I could stick my Special Weapons Dalek and it would look epic.

      July 15th, 2014 - 7:16pm

But it would be hugely expensive!
This is around £30, and The Time of The Doctor set is also £30, so this would be around £70 – if you’re lucky – in 5″!!!

  • The Other

    July 15th, 2014 - 6:48pm

    This looks AWESOME!!! 😀
Which I’m very relieved about, since this was one of the main catalysts for me getting the new 3.75 figures!

    Also love the new packaging!!!

Just an interesting observation: the patrol ship gun in the box pictures and on the ‘stealth’ version is different to the actual, regular version

The packaging looks rather plain. Just looks a little odd compared to what has been provided before (especially the lack of patterning of the inner packaging).

The Time War Dalek figure’s colour scheme seems to have been based on the Dalek Saucer Commander from the 1964 story ‘The Dalek Invasion of Earth’.

Okay, I’ll admit, this is really nice… The new packaging looks incredibly professional, if Character keeps up at this quality, the next waves of figures should actually be fantastic!

I don’t really like this packaging, bit of an eyesore in my opinion. The figure however looks great although slightly unrealistic (like you can instantly tell it’s plastic) and I also like the Dalek figure it comes with but we’ve already had like 5 3.75″ Dalek variants.
