Just picked up a copy. Nice little read with an article on the forthcoming 3-Doctor’s Crossover series coming Aug/Sep. Also has a BBCShop 10% Off Code in the back as well!

Cheers for the link! Although I will be checking out a new comic store on the day (so I don’t begrudge the £4 bus fare) I’d also prefer a back-up copy in case they run out before I get there!

Hmm. Wish they could’ve chosen a different artist for the Eleventh Doctor comic, I’m not a fan of the guy’s work.

Only just got that the Prohibited Sphere is a play on Forbidden Planet… I’m going to go and sit in a corner and think about how disappointed in myself I am for not seeing it sooner…

Any local comic shop will likely be doing it. Just google for comic shops in your area, I have a few in my area, and there will likely be one near you (yes, I am in the UK).

Click on the Comic Locator link & find out. I’ve just tried & found ONE shop locally to me that is a Participant. I’m going to ‘phone them & try & find out more.

What a fantastic idea! I’ve tried to introduce people to comic series in the past via Free Comic Book Day, but most of them just reprint the first issue of their series and that doesn’t really cut it for some. The best way is to do an original story, or, as in the case of Titan, three short stories featuring their three Doctors. It allows readers to get a grasp of the series and its characters via a standalone story, which also appeals to fans who have already bought into the series.

    Great stuff Titan!
