3 inch figures are too small to play with and the sonic screwdrivers are really small with the 5 inch figures and they will be really small with the 3 inch figures just think how small they will be and how easy it will be to loose them

As much as I dislike Rose Tyler, I have to agree they should’ve made a new figure of her. From what I’ve seen neither of her previous figures were very good.

  • You Know WHO

    February 4th, 2013 - 8:27pm

In my opinion the new figures are pathetic.
For example, I have a range of Cybermen figures of the normal size; put the new 2013 Cybermen with all the others and some how the Cybermen have started shrinking. Also when the 11th doctor regenerates, the 12th will be a midget compared to the others! BIG MISTAKE Character.

I think they are talking about the fact there won’t be a 5” figure of the 12th Doctor when he (or maybe even she) come around to appearing in the show.

I, myself, am quite disappointed with the figures, now, not saying I hate them, but, the smaller size gets on my nerves. I was hoping to have them the same as before. Now, they’re starting a new size, I’ll have to start collecting again.

I hope they make the christmas one AND the Cybermen outfit both, they are freaking awesome and show that he is older and more experienced now ❗

  • Clayderman

    January 29th, 2013 - 10:43pm

It is slightly shaming that they changed scale ranges. I was really hoping for a 5″ new cyberman and a Clara too. Otherwise, they should make a 3.75″ 11 Doctors Set. For around £25 – £35. Any other suggestions?

  • McGann is The Doctor

    January 29th, 2013 - 5:58pm

I hope they donot replace the 5″ classics aswell.

The scenario I’m hoping for is that 3 inch does well, and maybe they make some 3 inch classics, but 5″ classics remain and they make some 5″ series 6 figures.

Worst scenario: Either 3 inch fails and we end up with 90% variant figures for the 2014 series followed by their change to 1.5 inches 😯

    • Dalek The Supreme

      January 30th, 2013 - 5:29am

Totally agree, though I doubt the worst case scenario will happen, CO can’t be that stupid. 😆 Maybe they’ll decide to release the odd Classic or RTD era figure or two in future waves

    • McGann is the Doctor

      January 30th, 2013 - 9:31am

Maybe, but I wouldn’t think it likely of them to make any RTD figures again. When you release afew, you have to realease the whole lot, maybe they should just release a 3 inch David Tennant.

This would be good because, while I’m not fond of David Tennant’s Doctor, the action figure from the 5″ range was a true waste of potential. Bad articulation, poorly painted outfit (plus they had the same shirt and tie for every figure), they never gave him the spikey hair until the End of Time was released and the brown suit was sometimes done in grey.

    • Dalek The Supreme

      January 31st, 2013 - 3:04am

Yeah, probably. But still, I’m hoping they at least release Tom Baker, Patrick Troughton, David Tennant (Far from being my favorite Doctor, but needs some improvement as a figure), a classic Dalek from The Daleks, and a Cyberman from Earthshock in the new scale.

    • Dalek The Supreme

      January 31st, 2013 - 5:26am

On second thought, I’d prefer a classic Dalek from Destiny of the Daleks. The story was ok at best, but I loved how spacey wacey the light grey/black color scheme looked. 😀

I’m sorry, I don’t understand your words. What is a “uachle theas”?

    • McGann is the Doctor

      February 1st, 2013 - 1:59pm

Yes, the Destiny Daleks would be good figures because they would have more distinction from the 80s Daleks

You do know those Daleks were totally machine, robots ?

Dissapointingly, CO haven’t released the renegade 80s Dalek soldier as an army building FX Dalek, nor the Destiny ones.

Instead, we get two near identical suprememe Daleks (one of which I already have, and the remembrance one has an inaccurate base but is still awesome, but similar !).

And still no Dalek sec for the accurate proportions 🙁

    • Dalek The Supreme

      February 2nd, 2013 - 1:21am

I know, I just love their paint scheme.

I know. I’m just glad they’re even re-releasing it with McCoy.

Remembrance of the Daleks PERIOD is awesome, and so is that Supreme Dalek.

I know, right?? The Crucible Dalek figure they’re releasing with Tennant looks nice, but it really would’ve been great to have an accurate Sec.

    • McGann is the Doctor

      February 4th, 2013 - 10:23am

True. Atleast I will get that Guard Dalek, and more of the first wave. But they need to make them more available, forbidden planet had none, only place to have them was argos ! ❗

    • Dalek The Supreme

      February 4th, 2013 - 1:30pm

It’s even worse for me. I live in America, meaning I have to buy Doctor Who figures online. Usually it takes a week, sometimes even longer for new stuff to come on, (if it even comes on at all) and when it does, it’s usually quite expensive. Then I have to wait a week or two for it to arrive. 🙁

    Two questions:

    1. Will the Doctor and Dalek sets only have Doctors based specificly on the Dalek episode, or will they make some variants ?

I hope they make variants because I already have the 4th 5th 6th 7th and 10th Doctors from their Dalek stories. They should fix the 7th Doctor’s scarf and give the 10th Doctor one of his other shirts instead of a one hundred millionth figure of him in that pale blue one.

Would love to see a Stolen Earth red Supreme Dalek in 3.75!

Would rather see a metallic Drone Dalek in 3.75-inch. If they make one, I may make the switch.

Same for me if they make lots of new Doctor figures.
