Got this at Sainsbury’s and it’s ok. Love the section where it has pictures of all the companions of each era/decade of the show’s history ALL IN ONE PLACE. With 13 companions in the 1960s section, 11 in 1970s, 8 in the 1980s and 10 in the 2000s section, lol. Quite good though, although I don’t think it is entirely worth of £9.99 for something that looks good, but explains much about how it was family show intended, then how the companions ranged different and then why the production crew, etc, replaced them, not about the companions.

Ilford’s WH Smith has none of this in stock, just the normal DWM, Doctor Who Adventures, and a very old and clearly outdated Doctor Who Insider from America cos it’s got Amy and Rory on the cover.

Was hoping to get this today at WH Smith in Barking’s Vicarage Field Shopping Centre which is where I got the Dalek one while also buying the new Doctor Who Magazine with Peter Capaldi on the cover which I did thankfully get, but they had no copies, and none at the other WH Smith’s in Barking at Barking Station, so gonna have to visit the WH Smith is Ilford tomorrow instead.

I ended up ordering mine from Amazon after a fruitless search around town. Frustrating that these aren’t stocked where I normally buy DWM.

This is a very good book but I think they should have included interviews with more of the deceased companions like Mary Tamm and Caroline John even Nicholas Courtney because sadly there isn’t enough in it but I give it a 9/10

The TARDIS is included in the back of this issue, so it will probably be about The Doctor (eg. 1-11, John Hurt, Peter Capaldi etc)

I was wondering that… I’m guessing the Doctors or possibly the monsters, since the first one only dealt with the Daleks.
