I’m considering picking this up as, although i was never a fan of the change in scale, I would like to at least see what the figures are like and this is as good a way as any to get examples of the figures and the play sets. I am now very glad that i did not pick up a 12th doctor on clearance from forbidden planet when i was down last week.

I GOT IT!!! ITS AMAZING!! (I recommend using Blu Tack for standing the figures up) The only problem i had with it is that my hoverbout had 2 of the left rails 🙁 so i used the right one from my other set on it so now my other hoverbout is without one lol

Booboo/Luke-please could you update the 3.75″ collectors list to include the figures and time zone from this set when you have the chance? I know you’re busy, so doesn’t have to be immediately.

This is good price considering that the figures on their own would cost about £35 and that doesn’t include the actual playset and the exclusive hover bout is this is a great deal in my opinion

Is the 12th Doc figure exactly the same as the regular release or does it include a slightly different painjob perhaps?

Brought this today at Argos. Definitely worth £24.99 and the figures are amazing. Although all of the figures are re-releases, the Clara and rusty figure really do stand out. The build quality and the structure is good and it’s easy to build, apart from the ‘half of a tube-like’ object that is against the floor, that was the only thing that was a pain to make. Also, the black and red colour scheme of the hover bout looks amazing and really stands out. I really do recommend you buy this set, even if you are a collector.

Argos website was a total mess this morning. I managed to Reserve 1 of the 2 ‘Into The Dalek’ Sets my local store had in stock online but couldn’t find any reference to the new 3.75″ figures? Went to the store & picked up the Time Zone Set & found the new Wave 4 figures in the Catalogue. After asking to view the one figure in stock, they brought out a battered & tatty Wave 3 10th. Doctor. Turn’s out they didn’t have ANY of the new figures in at all!

That’s because the new wave isn’t out yet, and is likely to release in August. These catalogues are designed to last for months, so they need to keep it up to date, despite not having some of the product in stock when the catalogue is first launched.

in the past they have always had a handful of figures in stock from the new catalogue

Yes, but very small amounts at a limited number of stores.

was there any pics of new wave 4 in catalogue

sounds like its the old wave that’s changed now

Much better price there than £50. Now it can actually be classed as a ‘value set’

Great puce but this kind of pricing tactics should be stamped on

Also kind of cheapens the line to me

that’s less than £5 a figure let alone the play set

      July 18th, 2015 - 11:33am

So I’d assume it’s permanently this price then? I was just wondering as I might wait a bit before getting it.
