February 2nd, 2013 - 4:51pmyeah, i fill it with cold water unless your supposed to fill it with warm or does it matter. I leave it for about a day then throw it away. Mybe i should leave it for longer but you would have thaught a day to be long enough. It usually grows about half a centimetre.
