The picture’s a conspiracy theory; the numberplate of the car on the left says DWW 29IF – which stands for ‘Doctor Who Weeping, 29 IF alive’; and Clara has bare feet. The picture was released before series 9 began, hinting at the possible death of Clara Oswald, a death we now know to be true. No missed opportunities.
