Finally got this yesterday from CEX for £48, pretty good price considering how rare it is.

Nice one BBC Shop. They have given me a further 10% refund due to the misinformation in there original advertising regarding the availability of a 3D copy of Day of the Doctor…

      good for them

Although I’m rather astonished all other retailers are still showing the image which indicates and 3d disc in included

The same as Argos are still showing an image of a figure no one is going to be able to buy

Packaging is poor! Cheap, thin, flimsy cardboard which creases easily when you open it at the top. Compared to my GoT and Walking Dead boxsets, it is very poor. I was expecting the type of box where you can slide the cases out from the side.

Any idea on how they are going to handle packaging. I would presume it is four cases inside a sort of hollow crate? Any theories guys (or girls).

I think it will be similar to the series 6 and 7 part 1 and 2 sets. Only with four cases, with the top being the opening! Or from the side with i would prefer. Or it could be 4 very skinny cases (yuck) so it becomes the same width of a boxset.

Isn’t it nice for once to finally say that the BBC have listened to fans and acted upon criticism. Well done BBC, people like Amazon should follow your example.

Pre ordered!!! The code helped a lot @trenzalore thanks! 🙂 Well worth it for price. One thing that strikes me as odd is that cpaldi;s first series is only going to be £38 on blu ray? Seems quite less than series 7’s semi outrageous £55 price tag. If anyone is looking for a bargain on series 7 blu amazon are selling it currently for £18 btw.
