This is probably fake but I noticed on Dr Who Toys. NET that if you click on forum, then scroll down to find series 7. If you click on THAT, then on ‘4 play-sets’ you will see that it says the TARDIS console room will be a set????? but is it true??

      May 15th, 2013 - 7:43pm

I think they mostly will be very familiar figures that will sell to the vast majority, would love to see the classic Master and Brigadier figures made but im more into classics just my humble opinion.

I wish they would AT LEAST come out with one last set with the Doctor with his new coat and Clara in 5″ and then they could end it.

No no no, these look HORRIBLE !
They look like a cheap McDonald’s toy and what the hell is up with the doctors face, and his hair ! And Clara ! No, come on character your better than this, I miss the days you could get a who figure and it would looked great, it seems like a rushed job to me, bring back the 5inch figures please

      May 4th, 2013 - 5:36pm

XD that’s what I though. It looks like he is wearing a bad wig, I hope these are prototypes and not the final figure

    • Anonymous

      May 10th, 2013 - 4:16pm

I hope they are the real figures and no one buys them (well hardly anyone buys them) and then they chage the figures to 5 inch again and the sonic screwdriver looks massive compared to the doctor!

    • booboo

      May 10th, 2013 - 4:18pm

if no one buys them you probably wont get any more figures full stop. they are not going to return to a line which had already had its day

These look ok, but ive stopped collecting now. But just imagine how amazing these could have been in 5 inch. Shame the size changed, and im not to sure on the card playsets either. Makes me worry about the new TARDIS interior set.

Apparently 5 inch aren’t collectible anymore.

    • Anonymous

      May 10th, 2013 - 4:17pm

because they didn’t make any new characters from series 6, just kept repeating the same characters so that’s why no one was buying them.

    • booboo

      May 10th, 2013 - 4:22pm

i believe there were no new figures because there was not enough interest from retailers warrant the investment – they just used the figures they had already made

Funnily enough Character cannot keep a line going just to satisfy the demands of a few hundred core collectors

    Reply
    • McGann is the Doctor

      April 29th, 2013 - 10:18am

Clara looks fine, the Doctor looks good apart from the hair and the bowtie, which are pretty much the two most important parts.

Bowtie looks cheaply painted on like a mcdonalds figure, there is no actual sculpt, which was always one of the best things about the 5″ 11th Doctors, and the hair, ugh, just looks rubbish. 🙁

    • The Saracen

      April 29th, 2013 - 11:47am

The bow tie IS sculpted look closer. These figures are smaller than what we are used to, but compare them to equivalent Marvel figures and they are far better sculpts.

    • Dalek The Supreme

      April 29th, 2013 - 3:18pm

The hair really should be bigger. Either way, I’ll probably get it anyways.

    • Liason Ice

      April 30th, 2013 - 11:23am

I didn’t really mean the detail, I meant the material, the plastic they’re made out of looks cheap

  • Kroton

    April 28th, 2013 - 9:41pm

I want clara from JTTCOTT, I think the hair would be better as tw tied up, and she look amazing in that costume(like every other costume)

And booboo, is there any pictures of the doctor and clara from journey with plain white backgrounds?

what would be good would be a TARDIS console playset, a TARDIS library playset and the TARDIS eye of harmony room playset with a few corridores to make up the whole TARDIS algthough it would take up a lot of room, i would love it though

The Daleks are the Big Bads of Doctor Who, if they weren’t made, kids would be complaining.

As for the Weeping Angel, maybe it’s the 5 inch one put there by mistake?

    • josh smith

      April 28th, 2013 - 8:11am

daleks arnt very good i like cybermen and autons and (classic only) ice warriors and the rani better

    • Dalek The Supreme

      April 28th, 2013 - 2:26pm

The Daleks are what made Doctor Who so popular back in the 60’s. Without them, Doctor Who probably would’ve ended with The Tenth Planet, and the Doctor would’ve died instead of regenerating. And also they’re my favorite monster.
