Exterminate! Exterminate! EXTERMINATE!

The Daleks were created by the Kaled scientist, Davros as travel machines.

ElectronicMovingDaleks

He had deduced that the years of radiation and chemical poisoning from an ongoing war would lead his race to mutate into immobile organisms. The Dalek travel machines would house these creatures and allow the Kaleds to survive.

moving-dalek-1

However, in the course of his experiments, Davros deliberately removed what he considered to be debilitating emotions from the mutants and a force of evil was spawned!

moving-dalek-5

The Daleks were born without any ability to feel compassion or pity and were motivated only by hate, fear and an implacable belief that they were the superior creatures in the Universe.

moving-dalek-3

Recreate scenes from Doctor Who with this highly detailed Electronic Moving Dalek. Each Dalek glides on a wave of sound.

There are 4 to collect including: Bronze Dalek, Emperor’s Guard Dalek, Dalek Sec and Asylem Dalek. Requires 1 x LR44/ AG13 battery (included).

I have hunch these didn’t sell well as they are still on the TRU, both FP’s, former BBC shop, Amazon and eBay websites for about £5-£10

Loving the idea behind these beauties. With the original Wave 1 Bronze Dalek being hilariously overpriced on Amazon.com, this may give me a chance to get a standard bronze Dalek, and one that MOVES, no less.

Anyone else hoping for Classic and Paradigm Moving Daleks someday?

Yep, I really want them to release the Paradigm Daleks in 3.75″ range and moving classic Daleks would be really nice too!

These move quite nicely wonder what the chance of some classic ones would be…and they probably dont take a fortunes worth in batteries like the 12 inch and 18 inch daleks do…..

I left Forbidden Planet Megastore in London with a Skovox Blitzer and what I assumed was the Bronze Moving Dalek. I went to Las Iguanas Restaurant, had a look at what I bought and saw the red rejection stamp and on the bottom it said CONTENTS: x1 ASYLUM DALEK. They also had Dalek Sec but I really wanted the Bronze one. Perhaps they should change the card on the front to saying the Dalek’s name rather than just Electronic Moving Dalek

Totally agree, I noticed in store, that there was no indication on the box of which one you get, so I understand how frustrating it must be for you, I almost made the same mistake myself!

I order 3 Bronze Daleks of Toys R Us website and they sent me three asylum Daleks because the packaging is exactly the same and the asylum symbol is on the back not the front so watch out guys with this one.

You might be able to get it off by scratching is or with a small amount of surgical spirits. Don’t take my word for it though.

I ordered these from fp international back in January and they’ve still not been sent, so I’ve just cancelled the order and ordered again from the bbc shop. Free p&p and 10% off with code RPF15UK (thanks John) I’ve saved over £10!

I got the Bronze, Emperor’s Guard and Asylum Daleks from this wave today. They’re great for £7.99, and the noise isn’t annoying, as I heard it would be. The movement feature is great.

I have now completed the first set of four, by buying Dalek Sec from Asda earlier for £8.47. Again, it’s a great figure, I hope they do a wave 2.

Same, it is my Birthday on Sunday and my parents Pre-Ordered Dalek Sec on the day these were availabe on Forbidden Planet International and when I heard these were on Back Order I cancelled the order because I thought it wouldn’t come in time. Coincidentally though I went to London this Tuesday and saw Sec and the Asylum Dalek there and bought them. Can’t have Sec until the 22nd though.

The Entertainer in Solihull now has these in stock, picked up the Emperor Guard and Asylum versions yesterday. The movement is very good and there not to noisy, however, going in a straight line seems alien to them

Managed to track down a Dalek Sec and Asylum Dalek in my local Forbidden Planet today. Just wondering if I were to buy another Dalek Sec if I could potentially swap/unscrew the base and take a non Electronic 3.75″ Dalek’s base and put it on the bottom of that Sec?
