The Incredible Doctor Who Pops are here from SDCC 2019!

This Pting Pop! Vinyl figure is the San Diego Comic Con Exclusive for 2019 and is now available at Pop In A Box!

Pting are tiny, violent creatures that survive on energy and devour all non-organic material, making them impossible to keep captive, but you can add them to your collection in Funko Pop! form!

This Pop! Vinyl figure stands around 3 3/4 inches tall and comes packaged in a window display box. Perfect for any Funko fan or fan of Doctor Who!

These exclusive Pops are available in VERY limited quantities, please be aware that making an order does not guarantee your purchase until the order has dispatched.

The sticker on exclusive Pop!s is not guaranteed, the sticker may be different to that pictured on site or it may be unstickered. Regardless of sticker, these pops will still be treated as an exclusive item.

As there will be a very high demand for these Pops and only limited stock levels, we recommend checking out immediately.

I thought their stock seemed to follow a strangely familiar pattern as to what’s in stock and what’s out of stock.

Just received mine from eBay USA – paid around £40 but it has the original SDCC sticker on it.

Very cool looking figure indeed !!!!

I got mine today, he came in a box that gave the impression it had beauty products in it rather than saying “Pop in a Box” which was a bit weird.

He’s really nice and has a more two tone paint job than the photos suggest like a lylac blend on his face and belly and green colour everywhere else.

Mine has a 2019 summer convention sticker on it

Neil, that number refers the category it is under. Doctor who is classed as “Television” in the funko Pop range. So yes there are another 830 Pops but not all Doctor who 🙂

      @Neil Cory
By now you probably also have your #893 Tzim Sha (Tim Shaw Lol) NYCC, and from the San Diego Comic Con #899 13th Doctor with Goggles, #900 Kerblam Man and #901 Reconnaissance Darlek. For some reason I have heard the Reconnaissance Darlek referred to in the U.S. as the Junkyard Darlek

Booboo, am I missing something here? So you can only ‘place an Order’ with Pop In A Box with no guarantee of buying one until it’s dispatched? Will that be based on date of Order received or what? Then there is the no guarantee of getting it stickered, but Pop In The Box WILL THEMSELVES treat it as an Exclusive? None of this make’s any sense to me? Either it’s an Exclusive or not, with say 500 available stickered as Summer Convention & you buy one & get one…

i contacted them about all of this and they said

I can not confirm how many have been allocated but we are aiming to fulfil all orders. Please do not worry 🙂

its all double Dutch to me, we have ordered 2, Luke one and me one finger crossed.

I find when you ask a sensible question to most on-line businesses they never answer it properly and you get a nonsense reply

    • Judooning

      July 20th, 2019 - 9:28am

Thing is with Pop in a box, they are mainly based in the US and a lot of their stock gets shipped over from there. A good chunk of their stock on their website that says “in stock” actually isn’t in stock at the UK warehouse and you can be waiting weeks/months for it to arrive (if at all). That’s mainly for older items though that have been available for a few years. This Pting Pop should be fine as long as they get their figures right on how many items they will be receiving.
I’ve had no end of problems and delays with pop in a box and only order from them if absolutely necessary. But like I say, when its newly released stuff they are generally ok. But if you come across an item that you seem surprised is in stock…chances are it really is too good to be true.

I think you have it right there Booboo! The amount of time’s I have emailed a business with a simple, sensible question & received codswallop in return is madness! Having contacted one business 3 times in a row, they gave me 3 different answer’s none of them relevant to my question. Needless to say I didn’t buy from them..

Might not help but FPI have vast amounts of pops they are trying to get rid of from 2.99 to 5.99.

They don’t appear to be able to shift pops any more and have vastly reduced the space new pops take in store as well now.

    • booboo

      July 23rd, 2019 - 12:57pm

well they did sell them free post when online and they sold a lot, and discounted, when they shut their online store they were probably overloaded.

I contacted Popcultcha about this Funko Pting & also FP.Com. Popcultcha said to keep checking their Website to see if it come’s in (?) & FP.Com said it’s not listed on their system, but to check after SDCC if stock become’s available(?) Barnes & Noble in the US don’t ship to the UK anymore either. So no idea what is going on with this one?

It will be given as a “shared” exclusive to an as yet unknown retailer no doubt, could be FP.UK who seem to get everything regardless or EMP like the last one.

      July 9th, 2019 - 7:30pm

Well if it goes to FP.Int I should imagine most of us are screwed. I live no-where near one of their stores & because they stopped Mail Order that let’s me out! Of course if it goes to EMP I’m sure a lot of people will be very happy – I know I will be.

I ordered Pting #831 as a Pre-Order from Australia $65AU on eBay. Seems a few sellers there; same photos. Due for release late July. Surprised as although only available from SDCC (Barnes & Noble) this is not supposed to be a limited release, so perhaps I am only paying extra for the sticker?!

By the way regarding the Vashta Nerada #709 others have mentioned, oddly enough there have been ample supplies of that here in Australia. I seem to see it just about everywhere so you should be able to collect from any store cheaply for about $15. Plenty on eBay of course. See if you can ask someone visiting Aus to collect one for you. Zing, MYER, Target, EB Games stores etc. The other easiest ones to locate are the regular Dalek #223 and Missy #711 as I write.

The other 3 new release pops I have pre-ordered from Zavvi here in Australia, $21AU which are our pretty average normal store prices, plus minimal post. Saves me hunting in stores later I guess.

Have all the Doctor Who pops now except #239 12th Doctor in Space Suit, because he costs a small fortune now and difficult to find in mint box here. Overseas postage is a killer too so not an option for me unless someone is kind.

Does make one wonder though … with 10th, 11th then 12th doctors in space suits, will they bring out the same theme for 13th Doctor too … hmm? River Song should have been brought out in her own iconic space suit also!

Do you think that 13th Doctors companions seem woefully missing from the Funko Pops on offer too? When / if do you think they will appear?

    Yours in Pop.

I no longer collect Pops as they began to annoy me but this PTing looks awesome probbably because it’s not Human and actually looks like the creature himself.

If I see one in FB I’l get it, or online but I can already hear the Ebay vampires waking up from their dark slumber to brave the light just to rip off the fans and make a extra £20 for some reason.

depends on who is given the exclusive, Vasda Nerada went to EMP who sell online, if it goes to FP.co.uk then no chance for many unless you live near one of their stores

we will have to wait and see, we were avid collectors on Pops until they made the 13th Doctor with coat impossible to get and have lost interest in them ourselves for now.
