Doctor Who 2018 Season 11 1oz Proof Silver Coin

Available to order while stocks last from www.minted-uk.com

Doctor Who is back and so is the officially licensed annual commemorative silver coin from the New Zealand Mint. For the first time in Doctor Who history, a long one running for over half a century, Doctor Who is a woman – Broadchurch actress Jodie Whittaker. A new showrunner and a whole new cast of companions mean this is a whole new Who.

The brightly coloured silver coin depicts the new Who, the new TARDIS, and the new companions, and comes superbly packaged in a themed gatefold-style box.

Depicts the Thirteenth Doctor alongside her TARDIS and friends: Ryan, Yasmin and Graham. Each coin features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Country of Issue – Niue.

Presented in a stylish coin case, which includes striking coloured images of the TARDIS. The matching, numbered Certificate of Authenticity sits inside the packaging.

If you want to import this yourself (its from the New Zealand Mint) you can. Also if you buy the 2017 coin (previous shown on this site) along with the 2018 one you can save 10% (each coin is approximately £60.80 but that’s before import duty, but you can knock off about £12 if you buy both and use the code ‘DoctorWho’ at the check out. (https://www.nzmint.com/coins/coin-collections/doctor-who)

Be aware, you will have to fill in some paperwork with the courier company and pay the import duty, but if you don’t manage to get it from MintedUK, this is the other option.

Personally, though, I’ve done this (imported myself) for the Star Wars Poster coins and its actually easier (and maybe even a little cheaper) to buy the coin from MintedUK and let them do all the hard “import paper work”.
