Heading up the range is a number of articulated figures that will be perfect for collectors. Set in the classic 5.5 inch scaling each perfectly replicates some of the favourite characters, past and present, from the show.

Another Figure in the series is the Twelfth Doctor, as played by Peter Capaldi, in his Ninth Season hoodie and checked trousers outfit. This item also includes a new head sculpt and his brand new Sonic Screwdriver just in time for Season Ten!

Well I think we should all be very appreciative and happy with this. Even if we don’t get another Capaldi varient, by the looks of this, the detail gone into this figure, with new hair, face, sonic screwdriver as well as hoodie etc are amazing. At least the face looks angry compared to boring!

This is so beautifully done! Only criticism is the inclusion of the new Sonic rather than the sunglasses. While it’s an amazing addition, it’s not accurate. This figure is brilliant though, a huge step up from last year’s!

Now this is a figure that I have really wanted. The face doesn’t look amazing and would have been good if it came with sunglasses and guitar, but I don’t care. I will be getting this

As this is a figure from ‘The Girl Who Died’ I see why this doesn’t come with a guitar, strange why it’s got the new sonic, but if more variants get announced, we could get a figure with a guitar from the episode ‘The Magaicians Apprentice’ 🙂

Best thing is this costume is way more accurate than the Series 8 ones and hopefully it’s slightly smaller!

Probably because they’ve made one figure and made it accurate rather than making 4 figures and approximating the costumes.

As for the size, the legs seem to be the same and I think the legs are mainly what gave the figure height over the others… But we’ll see.

It looks new (the boots have got tags at the back)

      October 21st, 2016 - 4:17pm

That’s true – so it has been re-tooled a little.
I think the legs look the same sort of scale as they did last time though so don’t raise your hopes too high for that. 🙂 Great figure though!!

Amazing! I’m hoping for a velvet coat version at some point – I have no real doubt that this will come to the UK and I’m looking forward to it!!

They always screw up the face sculpt on Capaldi figures… 🙁

I think it’s just the lighting in the photo because it’s really bright and you can’t see the shape of the face very well. In hand it will look more like him I think.

Lovely hair sculpt – face looks soft but that could just be the exposure – can really see Capaldi a bit better (but I still think it will look even better in hand, has the right sort of eyes and in general looks nicer).
The trouser paint apps look great, maybe a little too bronze though on the hatching.
The sonic never came with this costume but I’m not bothered, prefer to have a new sonic as opposed to the old one despite the inaccuracy.
Really hope this arrives in the UK along with a red velvet variant! Would make sense for that to happen since the head sculpt now exists! 😀
