Doctor Who 12th Doctor Flight Control Tardis

Take a journey through time and space in the home of the universe’s most famous Time Lord! The TARDIS, or Time And Relative Dimension In Space, is a time machine and spacecraft created by the Time Lords on Gallifrey.

f12th-flight-control750

An obsolete and decommissioned model, it was ‘borrowed’ by the First Doctor when he left his home planet and has transported all of the incarnations of The Doctor to many different time periods and a variety of exotic alien worlds.

Now you can join the adventure! Featuring light and sound effects, this replica of the Twelfth Doctor’s TARDIS also has opening doors and can carry 5.5″ Doctor Who action figures. The perfect gift for any Doctor Who fans!

  • Take off and landing sounds and lights
  • In flight and ‘turbulent’ flight sound FX
  • Interior light and sound FX
  • Light up top signs and interior
  • Light up roof lantern
  • Twelfth Doctor TARDIS interior decal
  • Opening doors

Is the Barnes and Noble listing for this an actual listing or is it the wrong name? I’ve seen some people in the US w/ this and I was wondering how they got it…

It’s the right name but the wrong picture. It’s the right Tardis

The only fault I can find with this is the windows are not right. They just left the 10th Doctors Tardis Windows. I suppose you could color in the black tiles to make it more screen accurate. Other than that, this is my favorite Flight Control Tardis.

It’s a different color and a different sculpt

The windows are the only reason I don’t think I’ll get the 5inch version! I bought the 3.75 inch version instead – the windows on that are accurate!

      October 24th, 2015 - 11:08pm

You say the windows are wrong, but if you watch Flatline (the scene where the doctor banishes the boneless) and Mummy on the Orient Express, as well as many others you’ll see that the windows are in fact a pale blue, not black. So you could argue it’s based off of one of those scenes.

      What’s wrong with the windows?

    • Ian

      October 24th, 2015 - 11:28pm

What is wrong with the windows? There is more than one Tardis prop. White windows, Black & white windows and a kind of Blue tint ones.

    • Cyberman Bill

      October 25th, 2015 - 8:04am

If you look closely…. Some of the window panes are tinted. The ones in front make a T pattern.

    • Ian

I had forgotten about the frosted glass. Is the interior sound right? I can’t remember how it sounded in series 8.

I already own it and no it doesn’t. They got rid of telephone so the pull to open sign can light up like the windows do.

    • Ian

      October 24th, 2015 - 11:36pm

I asked on WHONA about this and someone told me this. Nope. And no phone or anything like that either – as you can imagine, anything obstructing the overhead light from illuminating the sign would not work to good effect.

For the Longest time I’ve been trying to acquire the 10th Doctor’s TARDIS because it was the Definitively better version. but couldn’t find it for a decent price, due to the little amount of people who wanted to sell them (Which is understandable. they are cool). But I am WAY more excited to get one of these! Not only did they bring back the lights but they added the new back drop and the Light behind the ‘Pull to Open’ sign.
I’ve heard this is a Toys R Us Exclusive but I don’t know

But here are my main 2 concerns (Please answer if you can)
Will the Phone be a Rotary Phone like it is now?
And Will there be different lights and sounds to match the current TARDIS?

I doubt there will be a phone, due to the lights in that section. I think the lights and sounds will probably be them same, the lights defiantly, but the sounds, they might change I suppose.

      October 16th, 2015 - 7:40am

well you could still have the Phone. In the show it’s in a Compartment.you could have the compartment then have a small bulb in there. but then again I wont get my hopes up since it seems the doors open with ease. there’s probably not enough space for the compartment. if so that’s a downer. hope the sign at least opens

The interior sounds are the same as the 11th Doctors Tardis, seen a video of it on Twitter.

      October 23rd, 2015 - 3:24pm

There is no phone on this one… The door doesn’t even open. It lights up just like the one on the show. The sounds are the same. The interior sound is different than the 10th Doctors Tardis.
