To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who, Cubicle 7 are releasing a series of Doctor Sourcebooks for the Doctor Who: Adventures in Time and Space roleplaying game.

Each book will take an in-depth look at an incarnation of the Doctor, featuring his companions, enemies, allies, gadgets and more.

rpg-1st

We will present each of his adventures, giving an overview of the action and themes, exploring how you can use them in your games. We’ll also give you suggestions for further adventures based on the events depicted.

As well as being packed with information for use in your games, the books will be full of images from that Doctor’s incarnation, and will be a wonderful fan resource for the show’s history. We’re even keeping the first two in black and white to stay true to the feel of the show!

I really hope they sell these seperately. I only really want the 1st and 2nd doctor’s sourcebooks, and I am not willing to pay 12o quid just to get them.

I’m not a huge fan actually. It seems a bit of a random collection of images. It would make sense to have all the companions or more of the monsters but to have just Steven, two from The Celestial Toymaker, The War Machines, The Monk and The Cybermen with no Daleks just seems odd. Each to their own, I suppose.

I like the cover, but I’d prefer the only Celestial Toymaker image to be the Celestial Toymaker, and the other one to be replaced by Ian Chesterton. Still really really awesome cover though.

Oh yes, it’s beautiful and striking but it just seems a tad confused.

Not sure I’ll buy these, might just buy the one about the 3rd Doctor who’s my personal favorite out of all 11 incarnations. . . . good old Jon Pertwee 🙂
