Time Crash UK100

Comic-Con Time Crash set UK100

Approx 100 un-numbered 2008 Comic-Con figures sets were released in the UK. The UK set came without the Top Trumps Card. The 5th Doctor has his famous Celery stick in place which is not present in the general release of this figure. The second Comic-Con Figure depicts the 9th Doctor as seen in Fathers Day with a Green top.The UK100 sold out almost immediately.

The Images below show one of the UK100 Time Crash sets.

Ok, I have a time crash set, mint condition, comic con Dan Diego exclusive, with top trumps card, 2258/3000, sonics wrong way round, but…. it also has the wrong title card in it. It’s a picture of the ninth doctor and label.

    What’s it worth?

I’d imagine slightly more than the actual version as long as it’s a misprint and not a fake. As it’s already limited edition a genuine misprint would be rare indeed.

Yes they do but some are known to have the hologram sticker missing for some reason? I have four UK 100 sets all with hologram stickers on, two US numbered sets and the rarest of them all the single Peter Davison Time Crash Toy fair set and that does have the hologram sticker missing on the rear for obvious reasons as it was never sold to the public. 🙂

worldwide there are only 100 unnembered uk time crash sets???

i think there are a few more, up to 140 some say but they are still very rare. They were the same as the SDCC but without the top trumps card. I don’t really know how it came about that character had them like this to offer to people. I We have one as well

Basically Character Options released to coincide with comic relief only 100 sets unnumbered without hologram sticker to the UK market to a lucky few who were registered with their on-line shop in 2008, and to be honest I don’t think 100 even exist now as some have been opened so who knows who many are still mint in box? 🙂

Only 100 were made and I have asked directly via e-mail Character Options head office & underground toys themselves and they confirmed so. The thing to ponder is how many still exist located in their clamshells? Surely some were bought, then opened making the 100 set ever rarer. The thing to ask is how many still exist mint in packaging. 🙂
