Character Building Tardis Console Set
TARDIS stands for Time And Relative Dimension In Space and looks just like a wooden Police phone box from the 1950’s on the outside, but is of infinite proportions on the inside.

…So I ordered one from Character directly yesterday, it works out to under $80 with shipping, (if you put some other items in the order to make the shipping worth while. i.e. I ordered this, a Psychic Container, two action figures and some random CB stuff. Made it worth while).
We get a 20% discount from them, as we don’t pay VAT (So my postage for that entire order worked out to £5 after VAT discounts!)
Character have these in stock now btw.

…I’ll say one thing about this set, I know it says 600-odd pieces on the box, but you don’t appreciate how many that is until you pull them out of the box lol.
It’s a rather daunting mound of pieces. 😯

September 20th, 2011 - 11:01amJust to mention, CO have ‘brackets’ of pricing for international shipping. Under 1.8kg is the cheaper price, it’s more if you go over (but you can buy a *lot* at the more expensive postage price).
But everything has weights and calculations in the basket, so there is no guesswork whatsoever. (All that stuff I bought was under 1.8kg).
That’s the only thing that has put me off from the FP websites – you are completely guessing on international shipping (and I don’t like that. I want to know what I’m spending up front).

September 14th, 2011 - 9:50pmThis is much better value, the Dalek set is nice but it is very busy and features do not work properly on some, the Tardis is a big set, very nice and comes with 4 figures, but the Dalek Set does come with a Dalek Scietist(Orange one) which is exclusives at the moment, but I would say get the Tardis is you have space or if not get the Dalek one!

(So don’t make a selection based on that one figure, buy the set you prefer).

September 10th, 2011 - 11:23amI always hate it when you think you have finished building the set, your on the last piece when…. you find that youve done something wrong with one of the pieces and you have to dimantle it. Then you get frustrated and break the whole thing be accident. Who here has been there with any lego set?
