All my shops have gone bust of series 3. Tesco used to have a box – now gone. Game used to have a stack of packets – now gone. John Lewis has lost every Character Building Doctor who toy. Hope i manage to find more soon

Just ordered three army builders off ebay brand new for only £9.99!!!! silence, argos cybermen, weeping angels. Finally managed to get a green coat doctor for £3.49 which is a good deal considering how many tries it would take me to find him in a packet. They had green dress river for £4.99 i’ll get her some other time though.

The doctor is really common. Just feel for the little sonic screwdriver in the pack

already tried that! I ended up with an ood!!! They appear to have hidden the figures by putting the stand of the figure at the front and the figure itself behind it.I found a doctor and river on ebay for cheaper than it will cost me to carry on buying packs til i get the ones i want so i might just forget buying blind packets and get the ones i want from there…

Its still really easy to feel for figures. Yesterday my.dad.said i.could get one so i felt tgough the bpx. I foumd rory, 2 sontarens and river. But i was looking for the vashta nerda. I bought 1 packet and got it right. So thats the vashta.nerada added to my.collection.

For the Doctor you need to feel for the bottom of the coat where it sticks out.

Went into Ace Comics today and found some series 3 figure blind bags.I managed to get a sontaran, vashta nerada, bronze dalek and an ood. I really wanted the 11th doictor in green coat the most Now i am left with 10 monsters including ones my sister gave to me and from the monster pack. I just find it hard to believe that i didn’t end up with the most common figure!!!! I’ll buy another pack tomorow to try to get a doctor.an amy versus 10 monsters is not really that useful!!! 🙄

Does anyone know if the Sontaran and Judoon helmets come off?
I really want a Vashta Nerada, but given there are only two in a box, I won’t bother because it will be too much if I buy them until I get one.

You can take them off, but its just a peg under it as with every other figure (so the helmet effectively is the head).

You can get the Sontaran and Judoon helmet off in a future dr who cb set. They’re doing it alongside a cyberman, an ood and a silurian. But it doesn’t come with a helmet (to my knowlage)

Just thought, if you combine the body of the Vashda Nervada with the head of River Song, you get a “River in Space Suit” variant from Silence in the Library 🙂
