Stocks Arrive – B&M 2019 Sets Product Codes, Prices and Information

Stocks have now arrived in many stores

B&M have now added the sets to their website at www.bmstores.co.uk

We have closed comments on all other B&M posts so they can be concentrated here.

Its that time again and this year there is probably more interest in these sets than ever before because of the inclusion of 2 brand new head sculpts, previously elusive figures, the 5th Doctors Tardis and a new line of Big Finish Doctor and Dalek sets.

Make no mistake this is a fine assortment of products considering the price points.

There should however be plenty of stock and the inevitable popularity of these sets over previous years appears to have been allowed for this time around.

The Tardis Sets have the same code as all the previous sets therefore the system cannot distinguish between them. If you require a specific set then it will need to be visually confirmed.

The 3 Figure Sets
all have new and individual product codes making stock inquiries much easier.

The Big finish Doctor Dalek Sets all have one code. If you require a specific set then it will need to be visually confirmed.

The Sonic Screwdrivers all have one code and are in the new Blue/Silver style guide.

For the most part people in the past have been extremely helpful in posting where sets have been found however we strongly recommend you check availability yourself before traveling.

The Product codes are as follows…

  • The 4th and 5th Doctor Tardis sets Product code 337412 £19.99.

  • The Second Doctor Figure Set product code 347790 £19.99
  • The Sontaran Figure Set (inc Harry) product code 347791 £19.99
  • The Seventh Doctor Figure Set product code 347792 £19.99

  • Big Finish Doctor and Dalek Sets product code 347793 £19.99

  • 10th, 11th and War Doctors Sonic screwdrivers product code 348589 £9.99

  • All Previous 3 Figure Sets Product code 294255 Price Variable

To find your nearest store visit www.bmstores.co.uk. Please ring (option 3) to check availability before travelling.

Phoned my store in Blackpool and they haven’t got them in at the moment. However, they’ve had a notification that they are going to be in store on the 26th August as they’re getting their delivery Sunday night.

The person that I was speaking to was a Doctor Who fan himself, so he knew what I was on about.

just a note, i would highly recommend you phone with the product codes or physically check the store your self yourself for stock. Don’t assume because the store says its not getting anything that it wont in the long run.

I wonder how many of each has been sent to B&M?

Wasn’t there something like 3000 of the 3rd Dr Tardis sets then 7000 sets for the 4th Dr Tardis?

I’d love to know if they’ve upped the order again?

8K pcs – EACH three pack of figure Sets.
10K pcs – of Doctor and TARDIS sets.
6K pcs -Doctor and Dalek Sets

    • Exterminator

      August 22nd, 2019 - 1:25am

Thanks Wholords2. If that’s right then there’s definitely going to be plenty of each set for everyone that wants one.

10,000 Tardis sets would mean only 5000 of each of the 2 different Tardis sets though so that’s actually a decrease in numbers produced.

    • Exterminator

      August 22nd, 2019 - 1:31am

So if there’s 6000 of the 3 different Dr and Dalek sets, does that mean there’s only 2000 of each? That’s a pretty small amount of each one really.

    • booboo

      August 22nd, 2019 - 5:35am

      6000 of each

    • Exterminator

      August 22nd, 2019 - 11:09am

Oh that’s good to know that there’s loads of each then, more than enough to go around.

Don’t pay silly money on eBay guys. Before long it’s going to be flooded with all the sets just like the last 4th Dr regenerated Tardis set.

      August 22nd, 2019 - 11:11am

So with the 10,000 tardis sets, does that translate in to 10k of each or 5k of each?

    • booboo

      August 22nd, 2019 - 11:15am

      I think that’s 10,000 total but don’t know if its a 50/50 split.

Basingstoke is my local store and I was going tomorrow. I read your comment and my heart sunk. Can you explain in more detail how and where you got this info from? Bstoke has got every set so far so I don’t see why this year would be different. If this is true, I am very sad. 🙁

as with the notes above i would ring and check for yourself to see if this is correct, different members of staff even within the same store may have been told different things.

    • booboo

      August 21st, 2019 - 6:40pm

they don’t, hedging their bets, just ignore, this happens every time, its not just a Doctor Who issue either.

having said that ebay does have its place for some people who live far way from a store and the cost of traveling etc is more than the ebay price

also bear in mind ebay charges 10% on value AND postage cost and then there is paypal and packing costs.

They need to sell a £20 item on ebay for around £30 with post before you make anything at all.

    • Mrs Croot

      August 21st, 2019 - 6:44pm

Anyone who buys one of eBay before it goes out of stock in B&M are crazy. Those sellers are soulless money leeches (not to mention stock leeches) and should never be trusted, as they take away opportunities for people to buy the sets buy clearing the stock.

    • booboo

      August 21st, 2019 - 6:57pm

some people don’t have a choice, the real problem here is that B&M don’t sell on-line

I’m not defending ebayers but i think a lot of people don’t realise how much they charge you in costs

    • The ergon

      August 21st, 2019 - 6:58pm

Half the fun is going on the quest to buy these sets at shop price. Ebay has its place, yes but should be a last resort. There should be plenty to go round. I wouldn,t pay those extortionate prices.

    • booboo

      August 21st, 2019 - 7:06pm

£34.99 for a £19.99 set will make you a fiver, hardly worth it anyway, and if it arrives crushed you loose the return post as well and have a worthless product.

    • Voldermort

      August 21st, 2019 - 7:06pm

Having sold on Ebay before, the prices the seller is charging isn’t actually too bad given how much its costs to sell on Ebay (it could be a lot higher going by how much the BF sets have gone for). Bearing in mind P&P costs, Ebay & Payal %. Selling a set for £40 will only really give you around a £10 profit.

Don’t forget there will be US viewers who don’t have B&M and will use Ebay to purchase these figures they cannot otherwise.

I wouldn’t buy these off Ebay unless I coudn’t find the set in B&M or didn’t live close. Fortunately I do and can.

    • Mrs Croot

      August 21st, 2019 - 8:41pm

They still clear out stock in shops and people loose out. I know from experience that the 3rd doctor TARDIS set was swept away.
Not sure about the regeneration one because my local store lied about not having it and I was lucky to get the last one, but not one shop in Belfast or Bangor had the 3rd doctor.
The only one here know to have sold it was Lisburn.
B&M wouldn’t exclude an entire country so it must be the eBay people!
I missed out on the TARDIS because of those people!

    • booboo

      August 21st, 2019 - 8:51pm

There are 1000’s more of the 2 new Tardis sets than the 3rd Doctor one.

There are also many reason why it sold as its did one being it was the first new Classic Tardis for a while and the first for new collectors, all subsequent sets simply won’t have the same impact.

You also may not realise that many auctions were sabotaged with false bids and non paying bidders making sellers think twice before doing it again.

    Reply
    • booboo

      August 21st, 2019 - 6:16pm

inflation, generally higher manufacturing costs, significant new variants and 2 new costly head sculpts.

Otherwise we can go back to 16.99 and have more 9th Doctoresk sets, i know what i would prefer.

Not so long ago FP/Toys r us were charging £14.99 for a straight re-release.

These sets are astonishing value whatever way you look at it.

    • whovian

      August 21st, 2019 - 6:24pm

Hmm, fair enough, they just could have used an old sculpt for a different classic companion instead of another of one of the worst classic companions ever. For me, I’m only interested in 2 of the Dalek sets, so hopefully I’ll find them in a few weeks at the B&M stores that are local to me. Guaranteed most of these sets will end up on ebay at ridiculous prices

    • booboo

      August 21st, 2019 - 6:31pm

Only so much can be done within B&M budgets each year and it cant revolve around individual expectations.

There is plenty of stock the, ebay bubble will burst very quickly if there even is one, ebayers got stung with the 4th Doctor Tardis set.

some stores should get something tomorrow i just don’t know which. You may have to do a few visits to get everything though

B&M did try to help but because of the system lag and a “Fluid” situation it would probably have done more harm than good. .

    • booboo

      August 21st, 2019 - 4:22pm

they have regional warehouses who then send to stores, this is why not everything will happen at the same time in different areas. They did specifically say many stores would have some stock by the weekend.

Its all very dependent on storeroom staff having the time to put on shelves as well, these are a very very small part of their stock inventory.

Bear in mind we are dealing direct with PR not store level.

26th was the date i was originally given

    • The ergon

      August 21st, 2019 - 4:57pm

I wasn,t going to say where as yet because the bloke did say they were going to put out on this date but did say he,d reserve what they have if i called back but as you say each store will stock differently and if and when the staff get time to put them out. I,d like both Tardis sets this time round if i can. They are first on my agenda.

Thanks Boo, to be honest I am not surprised that it would not extend, for £9.99 (bargin) it would not cover the cost of the mechanism and the size that it would need to be to house it all. However, that said as a fan I can always have unrealistic expectations.
