Diamond Classic Journal and Sonic Screwdriver

Diamond Classic is an unofficial title give to a series of re-releases issued in “Diamond” packaging. These re-releases were distributed mostly in the USA and Australia by Underground Toys. Some eventually found their way to the UK.

Replica of the book ‘Journal of Impossible Things’ with printed pages and blank pages (to record your own impossible things), comes with a miniature replica of the Sonic Screwdriver with lights.

This item was sold in B&M stores in the UK

Any sign of a reissue of the Sonic Pen set on the horizon?

no news but these things tend to just turn up out of the blue, they are never announced

I checked our data base at B&M and the only new things we have are the figure 3 packs and the journal with sonic screwdriver.

Thanks Mick. After 7 trips to B&M to get the 3-figure packs and this set, I am glad to have a break for a while. However, I did get loads of other items on my 7th visit, so alls well that ends well…

I contacted head office but they never replied (like so may others)

Do B&M not realise if it weren’t for these articles many people would not know these even existed (same for the 3 figures sets)

I saw this in B&M Bargains today and I think the packaging is very nice. I can actually remember buying the journal when it orignally came out and was going to use the blank pages to get people’s autographs.
My autograph counter so far is…
    0.
