The jago and litefoot box sets were a yearly Christmas treat from the missus, and I will miss them. Merry Christmas to everyone and all those no longer with us.

I think the cover that’s up is just the place holder image and not the actual cover.

Looks good but has anyone noticed that it’s pretty much the plot from The Scarifyers Magic Circle also written by Mr. Morris.

Yes it shares similarities. But litefoot isn’t dead as stories that have already been released take place after this.

Which stories are you thinking of, Lege? There’s always the possibility that Morris instigates a time-jump, launching us forward to beyond the duo’s encounter with the Tenth and Eleventh Doctors in The Jago & Litefoot Revival, if that’s what sprang to your mind as posing continuity issues for any attempt to segue Litefoot out of the picture. If it’s a matter of them featuring in Virgin New Adventures novels or the like, I’d imagine BF may ignore those aspects of continuity given that they’ve picked and chosen in the past. Perhaps you’re right though, and perhaps (especially given that we know past unused takes from Trevor Baxter will feature in this story) Morris will instead wrap this up like SJA, offering the impression that Jago and Litefoot’s adventures continued in perpuity (until the natural end of their lifespans anyway).

I think there’s a story with Tom Baker and Mary Tamm which takes place long after all the other J&L stories.

Yes, I noticed that! 😉 It’s only a superficial resemblance, though; the stories don’t have anything in common beyond the (I think, unavoidable) start point that one of our heroes is missing.

I’m glad there’s some uncertainty over when the story is set as that means it’s not a foregone conclusion where it ends (and, with any luck, that uncertainty will carry through when you’re listening to it). So forgive me if I leave that a mystery till after it’s released. 🙂 Not long now… relatively.

Thanks for that. It wasn’t meant as a criticism just an observation. I’m looking forward to it

    This is a beautiful idea!
A perfect way to end the Jago and Litefoot series.
Although i would have also have liked to have seen tom baker in it as he was there at the beginning of jago and litefoot’s adventures.
