The Big Finish Companion Volume Two

Big Finish Companion Volume 2

Big Finish is delighted to announce that The Big Finish Companion – Volume II, the definite guide to the audiobook library, will be released in November. This volume covers Doctor Who, Bernice Summerfield, The Tomorrow People and Stargate ranges – among many others.

Written by Finished Product fanzine supremo and professional journalist Kenny Smith, the new tome will pick up where the first volume left off, continuing to tell the story of the Doctor Who Main Range, Companion Chronicles and Lost Stories. Volume II will also cover ranges that were not featured in the first book such as Stargate and The Tomorrow People.

Editor, Richard Dinnick (writer of the first volume) said, “Kenny has done a superb job of getting hold of almost everyone involved in the production of some 200 audio releases. There are great extras such as the redesigning of the Main Range covers, why Charlie was moved from the Eight to Sixth Doctor as well as a mini section devoted to how the Big Finish team was revamped in 2005/6.”

“Secretly, though, I think I am most excited by the section on The Tomorrow People which tells – for the first time – the story of the missing seasons: six, seven, eight and even a glimpse of a nascent season nine!”

The Big Finish Companion is the definitive episode guide and collectors’ check list – every cast member, all crew details, full synopses – including spoilers! It includes all production codes and story trivia and collections of behind-the-scenes photography.
