Big Finish Audio Torchwood 1.4. One Rule

Available to order from www.bigfinish.com

It’s been three weeks since the Mayor of Cardiff was killed by a shop dummy and the fight is on to see who will replace him.

Yvonne Hartman is visiting the city to retrieve an invaluable alien device. She’s in charge of Torchwood One, she’s saving the British Empire and she doesn’t care about local politics.

But she is going to find herself caught up in that fight. There’s a bloodthirsty alien stalking the streets and there’s a special offer on at the all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet.

It’s the 26th of March 2005 and it’s the day that everything changes.

    Yes! The trailer proclaims:
“The 21st century is when everything changes, and Yvonne Hartman is ready. Obviously.”

Also, it’s interesting to see both Dan Starkey and Catrin Stewart on the cast list; with Jago & Litefoot & Strax on its way, maybe we could see some Paternoster team audios – In fact, with a second series of TW audios announced, we could have a Victorian Torchwood adventure – by the Paternoster Row Gang’s time, it would have been established for several decades; what’s to stop their paths from crossing?

Never thought we’d see her again so a good surprise. I like it when they pick minor characters to come back – gives hope to us and must be great for Tracy to reprise a role from nearly a decade ago, hope she enjoys it.

Interesting that they are using characters that are linked to the Torchwood series, all we need now is Owen, Tosh and PC Andy Davison

My guess is the next two (5 and 6) will feature Tosh and Owen !!

We already know that at least one of 1.5 and 1.6 will feature Gwen. My guess is that 1.6 will be post-Miracle Day and see Jack and Gwen together again.

Also, they’ve said before this the series will be set across the “whole history” of Torchwood, so I’d be surprised if 1.5 didn’t feature either Alice and/or Emily from “Fragments”or the WWI team from “To The Last Man”.

Who knows, maybe they’ll get Pauline Collins back to play Queen Victoria when she’s first establishing Torchwood!

Well, Big Finish have gone and surprised us yet again. Not too sure about this, but it’s Big Finish, and they normally manage to pull it off

I’m not. They will do a story eventually. There is another 2 cast lists for season 1 to announce plus the whole of season 2. There is plenty of chances for them to appear later. Considering how short the wait inbetween 1 and 2 it wouldn’t be surprise if they keep at least 1 of those till season 2. There really is no rush at this time

The captain jack episode the conspiracy is fantastic and I don’t think it would have worked on tv
