Seeing as this is rarer than the 11th, will this have a higher price tag or will it still be £150?

I don’t think they have said anything about the price yet? I would presume they would be the same – or similar. If they suddenly bumped the price way up I think they may not sell very well.

But in saying that this is a much smaller run and they have to cover their costs… I guess we’ll be left speculating until the preorder goes live.

I’m not sure if I’ll be ordering one of these. My 11th got pretty messed up in the post and it’s somewhat puts me off buying any more.

How much was the 11th Doctor Signature version?

£175 then postage on top of it.

The price will likely be the same, but get driven up by fans elsewhere because it is rarer.

11th Doctor Signature Edition was £169.99 + shipping (less if you lived outside the UK as you were excluded from vat).

you have to watch the VAT thing here

Ordered something from Australia for £24.99 and had to pay 20% vat on top and an £8 royal mail fee which made it stupidly expensive

The prices already include VAT (they are a UK company so have to do it by law).

yes but if you live abroad i think you can claim it back, it least you used to be able to if its worth you while

According to their website they just don’t charge the foreign customers, perhaps they handle it themselves?

I live in the UK, so they include the VAT in the price, but how much is p+p? I really want to get a good idea of how much it will cost.

This is all on their website. Just look it up.

Overseas customers don’t pay VAT. BC automatically deduct it from the price at checkout.

do you pay Australian VAT when its imported?

    • Mels

      January 14th, 2013 - 7:49am

We don’t have VAT, we have another tax called ‘gst’. However, imports below $1000 are tax free.

So basically… we don’t pay anything extra at all to have to have small items like these delivered.

wow its not like that here

i ordered something for just £25 retail without thinking and had to pay 20% uk vat on top an £8 royal mail handling fee

Apparently the price has been confirmed on other sites, but not by BC themselves.

i know this is irreverent but OMG, i still cant believe the amount you have to pay for VAT here in the UK

    • booboo

      January 15th, 2013 - 5:23pm

people forget when they complain about prices that something that is £12 is in fact only £10, the rest going in tax

I understand that you have to pay tax, and i do agree with it. What i don’t agree with is that if you don’t live in this country, you don’t have to pay VAT for some reason and the VAT gets excluded from the payment.

is it bigger than a twelve inch figure

    • Anonymous

      January 11th, 2013 - 3:55pm

If someone is six foot the figure will be 12”. If they are shorter they will get a smaller figure, if taller (like David Tennant is) they should get a larger figure.
