Big Chief Studios 1:6 Scale 4th Doctor

Arguably the most memorable of all of the incarnations of the Time Lord, the Fourth Doctor cuts a striking figure. From his fedora hat, velvet-like frock coat, tartan waistcoat and of course his trademark long scarf, his eccentric dress sense is brought breathtakingly to life in exacting detail.

The Doctor comes complete with numerous accessories including a bag of his favourite sweets – Jelly Babies, his Sonic Screwdriver, The Key to Time and Time Tracer, plus his yo-yo. With eight interchangeable hands to adopt various poses and an illuminating display base, this is the ultimate collectable for fans of the Fourth Doctor.

I don’t buy these because they cost like £150 what is quite a lot of money for 1 figure

Except they are aren’t really figures. They’re not designed to be played with. They’re fragile (the hands are at least), and are designed to be display pieces.

Wonder if they could make full size versions of some of these accessories….I’d really like a good quality copy of the Key to Time…fan made ones are excellent but very costly…and seem to be based in the USA.

Luke has the 11th but none of the others, i can see the appeal (1st Doctor is superb)

you just have to draw the line somewhere

Given time he might get others

My money goes to any 5″ stuff, all the 3.75″ figures, figurine collection, robert harrop will get some.

They are Limited Edition. Only 1000 made (excluding 300 Signature Edition). However clearly Big Chief want to shift some stock. I’ll admit, I didn’t expect any of Big Chief’s products turning up at the BBC Shop either.

I’m going to get this , then maybe get 12 when he’s released. But I’m kind of leading toward the new Series 4 10th Doctor.

Plus with a discount BBC do every now and then this could be as cheap as £135 with 10 percent off and free shipping could be a saving of £44 to £60 cheaper than Big Chief Studio as they charge post..

A Ninth Doctor 1:6 scale collectors figure has not yet been announced or confirmed by Big Chief. However I would contact them and ask them if I were you. I contacted them months ago soon after they announced a new batch of Sherlock figures would be produced after the original number sold out, asking if the Tenth Doctor figure might receive the same treatment, only to be told that they were making a second version for release in 2015. This was months before they would announce it. I think it’s absolute flawless customer service that they let fans have inside knowledge before they officially announce it.
