Also available to order from www.forbiddenplanet.co.uk or

BIG Chief Studios are proud to announce an all-new 1:6 Scale Collector Figure in celebration of The War Doctor.

Officially licensed by BBC Worldwide and produced in a limited worldwide edition, each figure features a fully realised likeness of Sir John Hurt as the warrior Time Lord from the ‘Day of the Doctor’ and comes packed with numerous accessories including his Sonic screwdriver, Gallifreyan laser rifle, ‘The Moment’ cube plus a light-up display base.

The Signature Edition includes a special autograph plaque hand-signed by John Hurt and is available exclusively from www.bigchiefstudios.co.uk

Limited to only 300 pieces worldwide, each figure comes complete with an autograph plaque, display stand, a certificate of authenticity and is packed in a full colour printed box.

At the height of the Last Great Time War, The War Doctor was born on the planet Karn. This incarnation was the Doctor’s darkest secret. A battle-hardened warrior, rather than a healer.

A man who saw so much death and destruction in the Time War, that finally, at the fall of Arcadia, he proclaimed “No more”. Stealing the Moment – a sentient weapon of great power – he planned to kill all Time Lords and the Daleks, in the name of peace and of sanity.

Hopefully Big Chief have fixed the weak knees that cursed the Tom Baker figure and the First Doctor (the only two I’ve bought). Apart from the inability to pose a stance without aid, these figures are pretty good… but expensive.

They ought to conisder a range of miniature prop displays and guns…. Id have liked the key to time and some other bits from the Tom Baker figure without having to buy the figure itself.

They do have some of those. You can buy rivers notebook and gun which came with the pre order 10th Doctor, you can buy handles which came with pre order 11th Doctor, you can just buy the Adipose. I wonder if they will make the moment available by itself. I don’t know what makes them choose what bits to sell or not. I agree that the key to time would be an awesome piece for them to sell. That’s a really good idea, though

Was so looking forward to this one! But for me the likeness is off. I think its the eyes. I can’t deny the detail, but the likenese is poor.

Would have added more accessories to:-
      – Cup of tea with saucer
      – Open Moment
      – No more blown into a wall piece
      – part of a damaged dalek

Just to add some display options

i’d say Harrop cornered the market of high priced monsters. that and they thought it would be too expensive really.

I’ll be honest Im not a nu-who fan wont be buying that figure I had considered Capaldi but that smashing Tom statuette turned up and my money got spent there. However fair’s fair that’s a damned good likeness . If I could get my favourite Doctors to that standard I’d be ready to part with my dosh. Alas Pat and Jon don’t even appear to be remotely on the horizon with this company.

Well, if it you makes you feel better, I they’re making the eighth Doctor and a fourth doctor from the city of the death. And he comes with a K9

    • AngryDrashig

      August 20th, 2016 - 11:01pm

That could be interesting didn’t really like the previous fourth Doctor……I suppose they can release tom again and again and people will snap ’em up.

The trouble with this range is every figure seems to have a glaring problem with it. The product never ends up matching the high price being charged.

I dont mind the look of this figure but i think it would be better if it came part of a 2 figure pack with the other figure being Bad Wolf Rose as The Moment’s Interface

The price? £189.99 for a figure with a small stature and like 3 accessories is a bit much.

Doesn’t look nearly detailed enough. It’d be fine if it was an action figure but by Big Chief standards this is rubbish.

I’m not to happy with this. There is just something not right with it. I can’t put my finger on it. I think this is the weakest one out of all the Doctors. Not enough accessories either. I collect these figures but I’m going to pass on this one.

Looks great, but I was hoping he’d come with some more accessories, like the other Doctors. Perhaps he could’ve come with that glass sphere that was used to operate the stasis cubes or his cup of tea

I really want to deck my figure of Pat out so that hes either holding the force field generator from Three Doctors or as if hes walking across Vulcan reading his diary so if they do produce Pat I hope we get the generator, the diary and the infamous hat included as accessories…..every manufacturer annoys that hat….

I’m going to be honest, it looks good but I think I prefer The Ninth Doctor as it comes with more accessories than this does. Also I don’t like how the jacket doesn’t cover enough of the body and his waistcoat is too exposed.
