this makes me think how cool I would be if big finish did a live action story with maybe Paul mcgann, or even McCoy, if he dyes his hair brown. it’s unlikely but sounds like a nice idea.

After giving Pyramids of Mars a 2nd watch. This will most likely for me be the BEST Doctor Who story in my eyes and my Big Finish listen list consists of ‘The Light at the End’ and ‘The Great War’ (first chapter of Dark Eyes 1). BUT ITS GABRIEL BACK. AGAIN!

For fans of the ‘classic’ series Big Finish have excelled themselves in the last couple of years with some amazing and very special releases – this one looks like it’ll continue the trend – can’t wait!

Pyramids of Mars is for me the greatest ever Doctor Who story. This box set just sounds wonderful, particularly with Gabriel Woolf in attendance. To this day there has been no better villain portrayal than Sutekh, the Destroyer. Let’s face it, he was immobile for 3 episodes, and it was so convincing that the universe was going to end.

This sounds like a seriously well-judged set of stories, if they keep up the seriousness of the Sutekh back-story.
