Just ordered this book boo boo,
    http://www.amazon.co.uk

A charity anthology of 21 master stories with no doctors. Also bought a book from lulu.com called U.N.I.T fanthology 1974 featuring stories with the unit characters which looks decent

I only spotted it by chance. I don’t do social media so I rarely get to know about the charity collections. I’ve had some good ones from lulu though.

Ok, just thought I’d ask. Was about to order 10 DVDs for Christmas as presents, can’t get in so I’ve had to use other sites. The money hmv are losing from the website being undeveloped must be huge

Yes there is a problem. A lot of people can’t get things to stay in their basket once added.

Can’t be helping sales to be honest.

Just wondered about the current B&M TARDIS and Dalek sets. Are they in short supply or sold out now? Haven’t seen any recently in local stores, just the Cybermen and Sontaran figure sets.

For anybody interested, the new SFX magazine has an exclusive one page comic strip prequel to the Sil and the Devil Seeds of Arodor film, as well as a back-page feature on the Dalek Chronicles comic strips, a review of the Big Finish Lost Stories plus a small news item on the Mission to the Unknown recreation. Plus, features on His Dark Materials and War of the Worlds for those interested.

As a special it would be lovely to see a weeping angel statue of liberty, another dalek could be the damaged metaltron

    • booboo

      November 13th, 2019 - 8:29am

weeping angel statue of liberty is something i would love to see, not sure how possible that would be though, top of my list right now would be celestial toy maker

    • The Flying Shark

      November 13th, 2019 - 10:04am

I forgot the Toymaker! I’d also like to see that Dalek Metaltron, as well as a mutant reveal Bronze model from the same story. Thinking about it, the Damaged Dalek Thay is maybe too much of a variant for a bonus Dalek, so I’d switch that to the main collection now and include either a Bronze Dalek with claw arm/syringe, non metallic red and blue Paradigm Daleks or Rusty without gun from Twice Upon a Time. There are so many options!

New mythmakers interview DVD on galaxy 4 and I’m very confused! It’s nick Joseph. I had to look him up. He plays uncredited extras in creature from the pit (bandit), leisure hive (hardin’s aide), black orchid (cricketer), terminus (Lazar) and mark of the rani (luddite). Hmmm.

I suppose it might be interesting as I doubt there are stories there that have been told before, but this is a very odd choice, even for the niche market of Myth Makers releases.

One word. The reason it will work is because Money. They made that weird sil movie

    • Anonymous

      November 13th, 2019 - 1:11pm

The sil DVD is a direct DVD release specifically aimed at fans (it was very good too) the k9 movie was meant as a general theatrical release aimed at a wide audience, an audience that probably just isn’t there.

Nearly finished the revelation novel, what a difference from resurrection! It really seems like saward has put all his time into this one. It’s not the most brilliant adaptation being fairly simple but it’s much better written. It’s like resurrection was a book he had a contract to write and revelation is the book he wanted to write.

Do you think it would be a light blue box of the 5th doctor model so we get a non electronic 7th tardis with flat base (I think it’s been said that they’re unlikely to do a pink one now for some reason (is this true)) or an 8th doctor box (hopefully with a new lamp…) if they ever modify the roof like they’re doing for the 13th doctor box, 1963 and 1966 especially rooves would do nicely…

Got the sil novel today, there are 86 pages of new material before the adaptation of the DVD starts. Might wait a few weeks before reading as I’ve just watched the DVD. Also waterstones have sent the revelation novel. I don’t have high hopes for it after resurrection but I’ll keep an open mind until I’ve read it!
