The 50th Anniversary collection introduces characters from the past and present, including Whisper Men and the Great Intelligence. October 26th, 2013 - 7:00pmI wasn’t going to bother with these as I thought the Costume Cards would be too hard to pick-up & collect the full set. Luckily I managed to complete the Base set & turned up 3 Costume Cards in the process on the day they came out. I have now completed the full set of 160 including the Costumes. Just need to keep an eye out if they release any more Limited Edition cards…?

October 26th, 2013 - 10:42pmYou have done well Radburn. I have bought 2 boxes and 2 starter packs. Gained one costume card, and still 5 short of a set with triples of some rainbow cards from 59 packets.
The 1st box had no doubles of foils, the 2nd box was nearly all doubles of foils. Anyone getting that box as their first would have been severely disappointed. I was as a second box. I got three cards out of it I needed. Do I buy a third for now a 1 in 3 chance of another costume card. I feel like a gambler with these.

October 26th, 2013 - 11:08pmWhen I originally contacted Topps & they told me it was 1 Costume Card per 75 Packets – So not even one card per box – I nearly did not bother! Unfortunately with the UNIT Card being the rarest only 1,460 people will get a full set if they collect them all…

October 22nd, 2013 - 1:16pmI bought the starter pack and 2 packs today, I got the Eleventh Doctor Costume card number 3963 of 4150.
Made a bit of a spectacle of myself in town with my excitement, If you can get your hands on a packet its easy to feel for the costume card. Because their so thick, their is very little bend in the packet. So if you give the pack a little bend and you feel resistance I would put money on that you have a costume card in your packet.

I have bought about ten packs all together today from two different newsagent, and managed to find The Eleventh Doctor Costume Card! I am delighted! 😀
I also got the Rainbow Foil Cyberman (my favourite RF!) and the Tenth Doctor Mirror Foil, as well as three Mirror Foil doubles.

October 19th, 2013 - 4:01pmNo – The card is placed face down in the pack so you can’t feel it. If you get a costume card you will also be 2 or 3 cards short in that packet for the thickness.
