Action Figure Set: City Of Death – Pictures

Action Figure Collectors Set: City Of Death

The Fourth Doctor and Romana II are in Paris investigating a fracture in time. During a visit to the Louvre to see the Mona Lisa, the Doctor purloins from a stranger, Countess Scarlioni, a bracelet that is actually an alien scanner device. The trail leads to the home of Count Scarlioni, who is selling duplicate Mona Lisas to fund time experiments – all originals!

The Count is revealed as an alien called Scaroth, last of the Jagaroth race. He was splintered in time when his ship exploded above primeval Earth. His intention is to go back in time to prevent the destruction of his ship.

Realising that the Jagaroth spaceship exploding started life on Earth, the Doctor and Romana race back in time to stop the Count’s plan.

Hi Booboo, I live in France so I get all my figures off of the forbidden planet international website and get them delivered to France since there are no shops selling doctor who figures here. Forbidden planet international do not deliver exclusive figures and sdcc figures to europe so do you have any idea on how to get them delivered to france ??

i dont unfortunately, because these are “exclusives” every county is not allowed to ship abroad ie USA cant ship to UK etc but this doest help you, its a common problem, perhaps some one near a Fp could buy one for you and send it on

How is it that Forbidden Planet EXCLUSIVES end up in my local ABC shop, all the way down in Tasmania?

City of Death is my fav stories of the Douglas Adams script editor era. The figure of Count Scarlioni, looks fantasic, with the head of the Scaroth on, it really brings this figure to life. Shame the face of the doctor looks abit lifeless, its the same mold being used so it is wearing abit. Nice lookinf set, just abit over priced. I’ll still be getting one! 4/5 for me.

Wish I could say I was getting this set, it IS brilliant because you have an excellent new figure of a villain, and a superb looking Doctor.

But I speak not only for myself by saying I am WAY a bit behind in buying classic figure exclusives. The last one I got was a Peri and Sil figure set, before that it was the Attack of the Cybermen set, before that it was the 7th Doctor and Tardis which I opend for Christmas. :O

You see how long it takes ? These sets would really sell better with low-income fans like me if they weren’t so damn pricey.

Fans and collectors have wanted a Sutehk figure since the Mummy robot was released,

He would have to be made on his throne/chair OR standing up though ! You couldn’t have a figure of sutehk do both. No leg articulation I would think. 😉

And then romana with three mona Lisa and two with “this is a fake ” and the drawing from the cafe of a time lady and have 20th centery scaroth with gun if lalla would want her figure

Um, that’s a hellofalot to cram into one box, I think you’re expectations are a bit off the chats just saying ! 😆

But a Romana would have been nice, we’ll get a Romana figure later this year I imagine.

You should be able to print of some paintings for display use on your figures using Microsoft word.

      August 21st, 2011 - 9:15pm

I agree,Infact I would say that CO need to stop releasing 4th doctor figures.CO should release 2nd and 1st doctor sets for example:2nd Doctor with Kroton or first doctor with aztec
Its fair enought to say that the extra £2 added to the price was unesecery

    • Anonymous

      August 21st, 2011 - 9:24pm

They will say the extra £2 is for the extra accessories but they will probablly be plannign it so that the “extras” slowly vanish until we are left with nothing but a £2 extra charge.

    • McGann is the Doctor.

      August 22nd, 2011 - 3:54pm

Yeah ! 😡 as if the price of exclusives wasn’t already pushing it ! I hope they dont do this, maybe its to help cover their costs, I mean, they have made so much this year.

Just look at the new Series stuff they’ve brought out, and the new build your own sonic/flesh bowl creator sets, its expanded massively ! :O
