DOCTOR ADVENTURES – 4.05 DEIMOS

Millions of years ago, the noble Ice Warriors fled to Deimos, moon of Mars, hoping to sit out the radioactive death throes of their home planet. When the TARDIS lands on Deimos, the Doctor discovers that the Warriors’ ancient catacombs are now a popular stop for space tourists. But the Martian dynasties are more than history, and the Warriors are far from extinct. It’s not for nothing that ‘Deimos’ is the ancient word for ‘dread’…

CAST:

Paul McGann (The Doctor), David Warner, Nicky Henson, Susan Brown, Tracy-Anne Oberman, Nicholas Briggs (The Ice Warriors)

This is the only story in the history of the universe, that DWMs reviews could actually ENCOURAGE someone to buy! But bear-in-the-mind I would still get some stories, regardless of what DWMagazines reviewers have to complain about. Such as Nevermore, the reviewer says the story shoulodnt be in a big-alternate-dimension-world landscape for a prison, that is should probably have been somewhere mroe original like a grimy and unpleasant place and then the story would have worked well. But the way the reviewer sadid it was just obnoxious,

The latest Eighth Doctor series has been under a bit of flack (a little, its not too serious) from DWM reviews. Situation Vaccant:- Said it was innovative and a must have, and not to be spoiled. Nevermore:- One of those episodes that gets nipped at teh neck so to speak, like Blue Forgotten Planet (similar complaint for that one aswell). They said that the thing about the cat was wierd ( :???: ) The Android-Raven creatures sounded simmilar to Daleks (its purely just their imagination) and the new companion has yet to get a real introduction.

They’re saying this is gonna be the last of the Eighth Doctor series. It’s a shame cause I really like McGann’s Doctor!

    @ C@A
Temporary Cover  Though I can see what you mean
Looking forward to this series of EDAs
They are meant to be the last before McGann joins the main range
I suspect it’s temporary as they intend to have the Companion in the cover, who is still a secret
