Third Doctor & Tardis Set

  • Third Doctor as seen in The Time Monster
  • Tardis (Non Electronic) with black base

The Tardis can travel to any point in space and time and is bigger on the inside then the outside due to trans-dimensional engineering – a key Timelord discovery.

It has a library, swimming pool, a large boot room, an enormous chamber jammed with clothes and many more nooks and crannies just waiting to be discovered.

Just like The Doctor The Tardis tends to stand out a bit.

Its exterior should blend in with it’s surroundings, conforming to a new environment within a moment of arriving there, but this handy facility was lost years ago when it’s chameleon circuit developed a fault.

Since then, except for a brief period of somewhat random metamorphoses the Tardis has retained the outer appearance of a British Police Box.

There’s a sneaking suspicion that the Doctor could fix the fault if he wanted to, but he chooses not to tinker because he likes the old girl looks.

B&M was formed in 1978 and is now one of the leading variety retailers in the UK.

    Hi Mick

I go to the Grimsby store.
Is it possible you could post on here as soon as you find out that the store has received this set?
It would be a great help.

    Many thanks

Booboo I forgot to ask yesterday do you think there will be any figures released at SDCC ? In previous years I believe we’ve had multiple figures from there, e.g. time crash, assault dalek and figures re released with w card , is there any news ?

    • Tyler Prescott

      July 25th, 2018 - 6:14pm

      SDCC has already happened.

    • John

      July 31st, 2018 - 2:23am

They only had the new 13th Sonic at SDCC. A friend got one for me, but no other sets.

      you didnt put in in

i have know doubt the 3rd Doctor and Tardis set will be top by a mile than the 12th Doctor set

    • The Outcast

      July 24th, 2018 - 1:56pm

Defo want the 3rd Doctor and TARDIS and 12th Doctor sets, the other sets I’ll skip and save the money for when the 13th Doctor electronic TARDIS (and probably Series 11 5.5″ figures) get put up on FP.

      August 1st, 2018 - 4:08pm

Agree with Booboo, the Tardis set will be the best seller, just hope the scalpers don’t get them.
I would say the 11th Doctors set will be the slow seller.

    July 23rd, 2018 - 5:34pm

I’m worried my local b&m (Gravesend) might not get any of the new sets in because they’ve still got loads of the 9th Dr and 4th Dr sets from last year.

I can’t see them wanting to order anymore if the others didn’t sell.

    • Exterminator

      July 23rd, 2018 - 5:35pm

I’ll probably have to drive to others stores to hunt for this 3rd Dr and Tardis set. I’m hoping to get the 12th Dr set too.

    • booboo

      July 23rd, 2018 - 5:37pm

they are in same packaging so one might help sell the other, when the time comes ask CS to get some in

On the Tardis set buy it when you see it people, dont hesitate

    • Pjd94

      July 24th, 2018 - 7:11pm

I’m quite worried that I will struggle to find them all throughout any of the Cornwall stores, as it was very rare over the last year for me to see anything other than the 9th Doctor set.

    • booboo

      July 4th, 2018 - 11:44am

probably just after, depends on distribution, they are in the current collectors series packaging as well

    • The Dr Who

      July 4th, 2018 - 11:52am

May I ask then is it the same graphic style packaging to the ones that came out last year? Potentially just a logo change . . .

    • booboo

      July 4th, 2018 - 11:57am

as far as i know its all the same as year with no logo change, everything else thats coming and as yet announced will be in the new 13th Doctor style guide

    • The Dr Who

      July 4th, 2018 - 12:13pm

Very good, thank you indeed for the information booboo

    • Ian

      July 18th, 2018 - 11:54pm

Still on schedule for early August?

  • Jordie55555

    July 2nd, 2018 - 6:58pm

I’ve read somewhere that these could be released anytime from late July to mid August , is that a accurate time for them to be released?

    • booboo

      July 2nd, 2018 - 7:06pm

the due in warehouse date is the 6th August, obviously things can change

    • Jordie55555

      July 2nd, 2018 - 7:46pm

Booboo I think that whenever people want to make/release new figures , they should put out a poll to see which figures / sets we want re – released , that way they can make maximum profit
I’d love to see the genesis ark and Daleks set brought out again , or the stolen earth set perhaps

    • Bigman43

      July 3rd, 2018 - 3:19pm

I would love to see all the dr and tardis sets re released as to get the 4th dr set u would need a mortgage just to buy

  • Old Sixy

    June 27th, 2018 - 11:02pm

    Hi Everyone,
Can I ask does anyone know if I will be able to order the sets on line when they are released or is it only in store?

    • booboo

      only in store

    • Anonymous

      June 28th, 2018 - 2:47pm

Yeah and if you don’t get to a local B & M when there released ASAP, they will be selling on Ebay 3 times the normal price!!!

    • Jordie55555

      July 5th, 2018 - 10:36pm

Your have to check the website when they are released , it would tell you there

This link was shared on a related forum https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mXdJmTl9rDk

It is the designer of the CO classic TARDIS range discussing the models and comparing the 4th Doctor version to a screen accurate one he built – it really is an interesting watch and he confirms CO had originally intended to release a TARDIS for each classic Doctor.

  • Ian

    June 16th, 2018 - 12:04pm

Any update on release date? I heard early August.

    • booboo

      June 16th, 2018 - 12:34pm

someone who works there said on here they are due in the warehouse on 6th August, no price yet though

  • Shane Cook

    June 10th, 2018 - 2:38am

    $69.99 AU

    • The Outcast

      June 10th, 2018 - 2:56am

      Really? That much?

    • WouldYouLikeAJellyBaby?

      June 10th, 2018 - 8:55am

If that’s correct then that means it will cost around £39.99 in B&M stores, which seems a bit pricey for what’s essentially one figure and a diorama piece with no electronics.

    • The Outcast

      June 10th, 2018 - 9:07am

It could be less for the UK though. The standard B&M sets over here are $50-60 dollars, which is more like 30 quid when it should only be 15 to 20. I think I’ll probably get my sets from Ebay.

    • WouldYouLikeAJellyBaby?

      June 10th, 2018 - 9:24am

It should be cheaper really, I know that the Forbidden Planet exclusive First, Fourth and Seventh Classic TARDISes were that price but I think at that price it would be a tad pricey, even though the 12” RC Dalek from last year was £49.99.

    • booboo

      June 10th, 2018 - 10:03am

The Australian and USA price for these sets has always been much higher than the UK price

    • Jude

      June 12th, 2018 - 7:42pm

that is only like 25_30 £ here though, so its not that bad (UK)

  • Shane Cook

    June 7th, 2018 - 5:04am

These sets have just been listed on an Australian suppliers website so will be available outside of the UK
