  • Posted by the flaw games on July 25th, 2010

i saw this in an fp shop and i asked dad if i could get it but he said i have loads of tom bakers but at the time i only had the wave 1 classic tom so now i dont think it IS in the fp any more

p.s the only place you can get it is in the forbbiden planet shop in liverpool

  • Posted by Joe on April 11th, 2010

Yeah one problem i have with the time control panel is when i display it on my shelf in my cabnet the panel falls out of his hand then i have to take all my figures out just to fix it at least make his fingers long inuff to hold it LOL :)

Cant wait to get this figure. Without any doubt this is definately the best availabele Fourth Doctor figure. Some people say bla bla bla its a bad mold, but do you know what I say to them? :) “Not as bad as the mould on your mums shower curtains!” If youre a Doctor Who fan, burn your Fourth Doctor from
“The Arc In Space” and get your hands on afew one thousand five hundred penies and then run down to the computer, log on, go:
to http://WWW.forbidin planet (sux).com and then freakin order this figure! You so have to buy this figure, its awesome! ITS JUST AWESOME!

BTW, were some of my comments deleted by any chance? I could have sworn I posted more after the one starting like this; “I see this page is still soaring at the bla bla bla”. La da dee La da dew….

guten TAG! I see this page is still soaring at the height of its unmistakeable popularity. Im just checking back to say that yes, I will marry you….WOOPS! What I meant to say was that yes, I will purchase this figure. Online or shop? HHHHMMMM….

Maybe Ill have the nerve to ask my father to use his credit card to order it online, which he surely wouldnt :( , or I could take my chances, bide my time and see if I can find it in the actual shop of fp, which is quite risky kuz last (which was also the first) time I was there they sadly dint!

But at the time it didnt matter because I was too busy going crazy for the Sixth Doctor exclusives and reading all their comic books like in a public library.
But theres an old song, and it goes like this; ONE WAY, OR ANOTHER, IM GONNA WIN YA, IM GONNA FIND YA, IM GONA GITCHA! A GITCHA! ONE WAY,
    OR ANTOHER .ETC .ETC .ETC

WOW, Im the only person to comment on this page for the year so far. Make me feel special :) . It also makes me feel lonely, just a little bit lonely :(

  • Posted by McGann is The Doctor. on January 30th, 2010

This could be in The Eleven Doctors set, like how the Green Death Pertwee is going to be featured. I personally dont think it should be, because people who already bought this FP exclusive will have wasted their money and have less reason to buy The Eleven Doctors set.

And also because I want to see the Fourth Doctor in one of his two remaining costumes, the huge red blanket of a coat from The Leisure Hive-Logopolis or the grey coat from The Brain of Morbius, Seeds of Doom, Genesis of The Daleks etc.
We really ought to have the packet of Jelly Babies too, which criminally wasnt included in the previous Fourth Doctor sets.

And that reminds me, the Fifth Doctor BETTER come with a stick of celery on lapel, a cricket ball and a hat since he quite often wore the hat. And if he doesnt, there will be trouble.

It is a shame because this Fourth Doctor costume is clearly much nicer than the one worn in “Ark in Space” etc all (most of) those earlier Tom Baker stories.
Brown is it? It always looked Dark Red to me!

You know, these Forbidden Planet exclusives are actually causing some of us Whovians trouble and despair. Oh MY GOD! the Third Doc with a Death To The Daleks Dalek! Oh wait, exclusive to Forbidden planet.com, priced twice as much as a normal figure. RRRRRRRR!!!!!! Its hard enough getting my parents to order online figures, how could i possibly persuade them to buy anything overpriced? They dont understand theart of figure collecting, its a teenager thing, they wouldnt buy me two figures for such a price if their lives depended on it!

But the good news keeps coming. Sylvester Mccoy and an Imperial Dalek you say? Only available on Forbidden Planet.com you say?
When will this torment end i ask. It seems as long as character options is making these figures, forbidden planet will torture us with these tempting and harshely priced figures. I nedd a credit card…..

The scarf Is only painted on one side you say Who-ray? It seems this figure might not be so great after all, and no interchangeable head. Sadly for me I dont have any Fourth Doctor figures, or any classic doctor figures for that matter. Only new to the “Whovianism” since April and i get all my figures online and i have no credit card. Any way, the point is that I would be stuck with that grin and hat, which isnt such a good thing. But i shant worry, The Eleven Doctors set is more than likely not just a rumour, and guess which of the doctors happens to be a costume variant :)

Mind came the other day and I was slightly disappointed with the paintwork in general. The scarf, unlike the other earlier model, is only painted on one side and the face texture is rougher. I would have like a more sombre expression as this is the episode where he is moody from the outset of “I’m a Time Lord…I walk in eternity…” Still it’s a great figure for the collection.

I like figures in other outfits but only when they are good value or ones I like

  • Posted by No6 on November 23rd, 2009

WOW…it’s just ever so slightly different!. For a slightly different coloured scarf sculpt, a different coloured coat (knee length of course) and different coloured trousers…not to mention the different skin tone used on the newer figures…oh lets not forget the hat people! I mean, that hat with it’s dent sculpted in the middle……..yes indeed, well worth splashing out yet more money on yet another resculpt of yet another re-released Dr…ENOUGH OF RIPPING US OFF C.O.!!!!!! JUST PUT US OUT OF OUR MISERY & RELEASE McCOY & McGANN PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Posted by Anonymous on November 23rd, 2009

Do we really need some many re-costumed versions of already released figures?? ENOUGH ALREADY!! why can’t we just get the 7th & 8th figures then try your hand in ripping us all off with your shameful money grabbing ploys! RANT OVER (for now)

  • Posted by ? on October 30th, 2009

I like it but I think we need someone with him either Leela or Sarah Jane

  • Posted by DoctorWhoBBC on October 30th, 2009

I Have Recently Emailed Character And They Have Revealed That They Are Sadly Not Planning Anymore Figures Until Next Year.

  • Posted by THE SEEKER42 on October 28th, 2009

How could you say that!? New costume, TARDIS console piece! If you want to say a figure doesn’t look different, look at the Maggots 3rd Doctor and the many variants of David Tennant.

  • Posted by Yallery on October 18th, 2009

Very nice – the costume details are great. It’d be cool to have him packaged with a reworked Sarah Jane figure though…

  • Posted by Juddon Master on October 11th, 2009

Yeah it would have done much better than putting The Fourth Doctor we’ve already had

  • Posted by The Doctor’s Stalker on October 11th, 2009

    Ordered this! Ha ha!
I love this figure! It should’ve been in the Adventure Set though.

  • Posted by Juddon Master on October 10th, 2009

They should have put Sarah Jane with him but still great

  • Posted by Jelly Baby on October 10th, 2009

Great to see the comparison photo, there are more differences than i thought, didn’t realise its a longer coat before

  • Posted by docandk9 on October 10th, 2009

Great! I may ask for this at christmas! I feel like they may release the 7th and 8th doctor either for christmas or early next year. BUT THIS MAY NOT BE TRUE! :)

  • Posted by Korwin on October 9th, 2009

Another one!! ( looks good though ) how about the 7th and 8th Doctor peeps

  • Posted by 1 on October 9th, 2009
