4th Doctor In Burgundy Outfit and K9
You can pre order this from Forbidden Planet International or ForbiddenPlanet.com.
This Doctor masked his brilliant and inventive mind behind a façade of bohemian eccentricity. The longest lived incarnation of the Doctors so far, he was forced to change his body after losing a fight with his old enemy the Master and falling from a radio telescope to the ground beneath him…
K-9 is a mobile computer in the shape of a dog. He was constructed by Professor Marinus to be a companion for him whilst working at a medical foundation in deep space. K-9 is both a huge database and has defensive capabIlities, being equipped with a retractable laser in his nose which can be set to stun or kill. He can integrate with virtually any computer system including the TARDIS and has also helped the Doctor escape many a tricky and dangerous situation.

The Doctor rebuilt K-9 several times, upgrading and improving each version.
In this exclusive release you get the Fourth Doctor in his famous season 18 burgundy outfit and featuring a stunning new head sculpt. He is accompanied by the trusty K-9.

GallifreyRules, They hate doing the question marks, agh thats a shame because everyone Ive heard from hates them aswell except the head-producer whos idea it was, John Nathan Turner.
As for the costume used by this character, in the early 80s, I loved that shirt, such an iconic look. Does anybody think they should do some more of this Doctor, from earlier on during Season 18. We need atleast two. I personally opted not to get this one, I want one with much more resemblance to what Ive seen in the stories (the Leisure Hive, Meglos)

The classic figures are pretty cool now, from 2010 they started using a different method so that’s why the figures are better
Posted by: Cyber-Pandorica-Guard-VS-Amy Pond January 5th, 2011
theres going to be a 4th drs sonic screwdriver
Posted by: GallifreyRules January 3rd, 2011
@ McGann is the Doctor., if you carefully bend back the coat, on the lappels of the shirt you can see the question marks. we all know how much character hate doing lappels with question marks coming over coats!
Posted by: superdalek January 3rd, 2011
At first glance the Doctor looks like he’s in PJs!
Posted by: Cyber-Pandorica-Guard-VS-Amy Pond January 3rd, 2011
Ebay or Forbidden planet.

We ndo need a new 80s-Fourth Doctor. The purple highlights on this scarf are far too vibrant, doesnt resemble the real thing. And I wanna see those classic Question-Mark collars next time aswell!
Posted by: GallifreyRules December 18th, 2010
getting this for christmas
Posted by: who crazy! November 12th, 2010
No. Unless you boilded it and popped it off it would be removable.
Posted by: who crazy! November 12th, 2010
Of course. Its the same k-9 that came out with the series 2 action figures.

100th comment dose the doctors head come of to swap
Posted by: Anonymous November 12th, 2010
i like this set
Posted by: Anonymous November 12th, 2010
dose k9s banel come of
Posted by: 9th_Doctor November 2nd, 2010
this set is great we need more variations of the 4th doctor
Posted by: McGann is the Doctor. October 31st, 2010
(CONTINUED)- be only one variant available. For me, this would be a problem of gigantic proportions. I wouldnt want Peri from Season 21 (Peter Davisons last stories, pink shorts and a white shirt), I would want her from Vengeance on Varos or maybe even the Two Doctors (blue shorts, nice red belt). But hey, as long as the figures are worthy of the characters, Im in.
It was inevitable that one day, theyd have to make companions, and they could have done so in the first place, way earlier on. Co are of the thinking type, first things first.
Posted by: McGann is the Doctor. October 31st, 2010
-Well thats true, but this is the start of something yet to come! K9 IS a sort-of companion, and it has been announced (not really, but we’ve heard) that CO are releasing several (
) two-figure (FORBIDDEN PLANET, ofcourse) sets of many companions of the Doctor. Including Zoe, Tegan, and (I hopefully didnt mishear this) Nyssa and Peri Brown. Each with a monster (s Ive heard, but some may also come with their Doctor, either way itll be great). BUT remember, as they cant keep giving out infinite rereleases of each companion, there may-
Posted by: who crazy! October 31st, 2010
They havent released any classic series companion figures yet. The only ones are the dapol ones.
Posted by: ross campbell October 31st, 2010
I think they should release an Adric figure with Romana II from ‘Full Circle’.
Posted by: who crazy! October 30th, 2010
They should of just released tom sepratley for an exclusive £15 like the 5th doctor regenration figure was.
Posted by: ross campbell October 30th, 2010
What I don’t like about this set is that K9 is just the same as he was in past releases like he was with Rose in 2006 but the doctor is fantastic!
Posted by: McGann is the Doctor. October 24th, 2010
-Speaking of which, he looked pretty great in the Leisure Hive (here we go again) when that enormous thing was off of him, the most beautiful red waistcoat imaginable was in full view. We should have some more 80s-Tom figures. Earlier, he wore these ankle-bashers, as seen here, but in Logopolis he wore his own boots (notice after the regeneration, Davison hadnt changed the clothes but he had now trainers on
because Tom was Gone!! ofcourse) i want one with the hat, the 80s-Tom-Hat was red-purpley. Tom hisself didnt like any the change (80s).
Posted by: Smiler October 24th, 2010
I think Tom looks awsome in this coat he’s wearing . It’s nice to see Tom in a different coat . It may also be interesting if Tom wore something without a coat!
Posted by: doctor who October 20th, 2010
why can’t the figure have ? because they were in the sculpt???????????:?:
Posted by: billey October 12th, 2010
The Doctor k9 i havit its winkid.
Posted by: McGann is the Doctor. October 10th, 2010
-NEXT entry The 4th Doctor in Ark in Space, who had beneath that tiny red jacket, a brown golf jumper. Then in Peter Davisons Cricket game episode (particularly famous for this game) Blackorchid, nice cricket jumper. With a cricket bat+thatHarlequinn costume from it. Great set! Whatelse? The 3rd had a fabulous green but pale shirt and freeflowing kravate when he escaped from imprisonment from the master. And best there was the Sixth Doctor when things got deserty,on Varos reveal them Suspenders. Felt like that on the way to school. Too hot!
Posted by: McGann is the Doctor. October 10th, 2010
I saw the Final ppart of the Leisure Hive last night after midnight (the time). Oh golly, as a Dr Who fanatic/self proclaimedWhovian it often occurs to my mind what shouldd they make as Dr Who figures. Wll frankly, I think theres been enough Cybermen and Daleks and perhaps even almost enough Doctors for now, its time to focus on things like monsters and characters, aliens and best of all, COATLESS Doctors.
Wve seen a coatless 11th Doctor, but you remember the times when other Doctors had to slip off/lose the coat? cont-next entry
Posted by: Eternal Dalek October 5th, 2010
thats wierd my post has disapeared but this is the gif I had on it

Posted by: pupbenny October 5th, 2010
Wait! Yes! They did try and make the K-9 into a classic K-9 (I think)! It has dark grey/black things at the bottom! Unlike in the prototype picture! I don’t think the new k-9 figures are like that!
Posted by: pupbenny October 5th, 2010
Sorry.
Figures.
Or perhaps actually.
Figure set.
Yeah!
Posted by: pupbenny October 5th, 2010
I go this today!
Or shall I say mine came today!
Well actually it didn’t. :/ It came yesterday but when we were out.
We got a letter say “You were out” and it described it and it did sound like it. But my dad went to get it today and it is this!
It’s great!
There’s no sonic screwdriver though!
But apart from that it’s a great figure!

I’m not BooBoo, but yes, the 4th Doctor set is now despatched, whilst the Remembrance hasn’t
Posted by: Anonymous October 2nd, 2010
booboo, I ordered this and the rememberence of the daleks set on FP International. They count it as one order. On my one it says part dispatched. Do you think it means it’s dispatched this set (The 4th Doctor And K-9 Set) out? That’s what I think. And I hope that is what it means.
Posted by: pupbenny October 2nd, 2010

Ive been wanting for this since I knew of it. But since my birthday is all 7th Doctor, I probably have krismis instead. I have the Leisure Hive (my most recent DVD of Who) and I need Espace Trilogy ASAP, or krismis aswell
, yeah that wd B the best. For the so mentioned oct18, its the Time and the Rani DVD, signed copy from scificollector.com (if there is one, I better check now), and the DVDs Ghostlight (marvellous story, I look forward) and Survival, which I can watch on the last day of the world, newyears day 2011-2012. And the 80s Tar-

no its not out yet but i don’t want to try it in case it wont go back on
Posted by: Jamesbondisatimelord September 1st, 2010
Booboo do you have one because you said you havent tried the head on yours
Posted by: booboo August 29th, 2010
problem is they cant do an historical figure unless it looks like the actual person, not the actor who played them so there wouldn’t be much point
Posted by: who crazy! August 29th, 2010
They didnt do dickens or shakesphere so i bet they wont do winston churchill.
Posted by: Jamesbondisatimelord August 28th, 2010
Hoe did you get one?
Posted by: roloboy97 August 28th, 2010
ok them never mind do you own 1
Posted by: booboo August 28th, 2010
I haven’t tries ours but i don’t think you can change them for other 4th Doctors, different peg arrangement i think
Posted by: roloboy97 August 28th, 2010
hay booboo do u know if it was a head removel
Posted by: DoctorWho collection August 27th, 2010

Posted by: kEVIN August 25th, 2010
I wish for an 8th doctor and TARDIS, 8th doctor and master, Rani(kate omara), 5th doctor from th caves of aronrizi(?), origanal sontaron, original silaurin and original auton.
Posted by: saul August 23rd, 2010
no a 8th doctor and grace will be better
Posted by: Scary Ben August 23rd, 2010
Who knows, we might get an exclusive set from CO this year – but still, I’m loving the new stuff as it comes out
Posted by: Scary Ben August 23rd, 2010
I feel you mate, I’m also looking forward to an 8th Doctor and Master twin pack; wait for SDCC 2011
Posted by: Jamesbondisatimelord August 21st, 2010
I might get fifth doctor regeneration as well
Posted by: drwhofan1 August 21st, 2010
I will be ordering this after I’ve bought the Master & Axon pack. I haven’t actually got a non-rusty K9, only the remote control rusty one that came with the Tenth Doctor.
Posted by: Jaketor Who August 21st, 2010
just a head change from 5th doctor figure to me still good though. the k9 is just the new one why not make a classic k9 there are small differences.
Posted by: stephen August 20th, 2010

Posted by: who crazy! August 19th, 2010
At least we’ve got a fourth doctor from his final series.
Posted by: GleekyWhoFan August 19th, 2010
The Tom head is great but its basically just a re-release of K-9 and a head swap from the exclusive david
Posted by: stephen August 19th, 2010
i realy think this awesome figure is going to be a ginormous hit when it comes out i realy think its going to sell
Posted by: pupbenny August 19th, 2010
Luckly for me I don’t have that K-9 yet. I wonder if they’ll make the actual figure slightly different?
Posted by: booboo August 19th, 2010
Oh yes and it was here all the time, they are using exactly the same promo image from series the 2 figures
Posted by: pupbenny August 19th, 2010
Here’s the link to it!

Hey booboo look!

The k-9 in this pic:
Is, i’m pretty sure, exactly the same one as in this pic:
Posted by: Rooners August 19th, 2010
What is it with CO…they starve us of new stuff for months and then they bang them out like there is no tomorrow….11 Doctor set, 2 5th Doctor exclusives, a Master exclusive, 3rd Doctor Sonic and now this….not to mention all the 5th Series stuff….exciting BUT expensive times. I’m waiting for the 8th Doctor and Master twin pack….if/when they release that I will be a very happy geek!!
Posted by: DoctorWho collection August 19th, 2010
I’m after this I will be disappointed if it is the same Sarah Jane a K9, because i have got it
Posted by: pupbenny August 19th, 2010
Are you saying that they photoshop prototype images?
O-o
Yes. Isn’t the medal over to the side a bit on this one? That’s what it looks like!
Posted by: BooBoo August 19th, 2010
Don’t know, a couple of things i noticed from the ones i have here is that there is no mould line in the front but that could be photoshoped for the promo image, also K9′s medal on the collar looks moulded on rather than just printed but we will have to wait and see
Posted by: harry doolan August 19th, 2010
cool set but i’ll save up for the 5th doc regeneration then is cause my mum
agreed to do this deal
Posted by: pupbenny August 19th, 2010
booboo, is the K-9 any different from the new series one?
Posted by: booboo August 19th, 2010
I don’t think it is in this case, i think the peg is an the head in this case but i might be wrong
Posted by: AlphaOmega August 19th, 2010
My God he looked old then…It’s a pity Tom Baker didn’t like the outfit.
Posted by: harry doolan August 19th, 2010
cool set im gonna get the 5th doctor first then is set for my brithday cause
im gonna see dr who live and go the fp retailer perfect
Posted by: GallifreyRules August 19th, 2010
my k9 is rusty aswell. is the head swappable with the other releases?
Posted by: pupbenny August 19th, 2010
I can’t beleive it! They finally bring out a fairly cheap (well cheaper) exclusive that I would actually buy! But what did I do yesterday! Spend £30 on a dr and dalek set! (there’s nothing wrong with that. I want it so I got it.) Oooooh! But the good news is is it dosn’t come out until the 30th of the 9th! Oh No! That’s is annoying! That’s 2 days after my Birthday! >:(
Posted by: timelord1000 August 19th, 2010
this is so cool but why is it a fp exclusive and i want the 5th regeneration figure so bad and tom baker and k9
Posted by: pupbenny August 19th, 2010
Yes that’s the same with me.
Posted by: 1 August 19th, 2010
its 20 for tom and k9
Posted by: The Whofan101 August 19th, 2010
It’s a bit expensive, it should £15 not 25 Tom is a redo of the regeneration Peter with new head, and K9 looks the same
Posted by: the flaw games August 19th, 2010
this is so on my xmas list
Posted by: The Whofan101 August 18th, 2010
I have K9 but it’s the rusty one. And I love this 4th doctor
Posted by: alex August 18th, 2010
at last the best outfit for the fouth doctor
Posted by: Justininferno August 18th, 2010
I can’t believe this is another exclusive!! It will appear later though, just without K9!
Posted by: booboo August 18th, 2010
If you already have k9 its quite a lot especially if you have a 4th Doctor already. There are many collectors that have to have everything but its not necessary for everyone, just buy the ones you really like, that’s all that matters.
Posted by: alex August 18th, 2010
hey guys check my new dr who site out! http://thesuperdoctorwhosite.webs.com/
Posted by: chas August 18th, 2010
boo boo should i get this or not because 20.00 is quite alout for a k9 which i have and the forth dr which isent so much different to the 5 dr regeneration!
Posted by: booboo August 18th, 2010
they seem to be in shops at the same time
Posted by: GallifreyRules August 18th, 2010
when will this be available in FP shops? for the warehouse on the website it is 30th September 2010. will they be in shops before that or at that time?
Posted by: 1 August 18th, 2010
how do you know its not removeable
Posted by: thedoctor111999111 August 18th, 2010
i so need to get this so badly
Posted by: Emperor Omega August 18th, 2010
I have a few ideas of what CO could/should release: Draconian, Drathro, Styre, Benton, Centauri, Borusa & The Rani.
Posted by: blob blob August 18th, 2010
This set looks great and for only £20. Since K-9 is technically a companion, is this the first in the line of classic companions, I really hope so!
Posted by: Silence will fall August 18th, 2010
Tom looks awesome
£20 is worth it because I like this Toms costume the best the head is not removable though is K9 the same as the New Series one.
Posted by: BooBoo August 18th, 2010
The brigadier is a must at some stage, there are so many great figures they could do – Omega for example, the list goes on
Posted by: Mr Pond August 18th, 2010
They must, or at least the Brigadier, brilliant as they are i would have thought he would be at least as popular if not more than Ainley of Delgado.
Posted by: Emperor Omega August 18th, 2010
@Anomynous – You think they won’t happen? They’ll appear at some point, don’t worry.
Posted by: Anonymous August 18th, 2010
Not fair I wanted Jo and The Brigadier
Posted by: Mr Pond August 18th, 2010
I need a Meglos head to go with this
Posted by: 1 August 18th, 2010
why couldn’t they had two heads, one happy with out hat, one sad with hat, that way would have had all variations of inter-changeable heads and diffiently known it was removeable
Posted by: gary August 18th, 2010
oh just what we’ve been waiting for
Posted by: 1 August 18th, 2010
i wonder if the head is removeable on this regeneration figure so it can inter change with other tom’s heads
Posted by: Jamesbondisatimelord August 18th, 2010
I’m gonna get my mum to buy it and keep it for christmas morning, or Illl just keep some of my birthday money and buy it when it comes out!
Posted by: 1 August 18th, 2010
why don’t i have more money
Posted by: C@A August 18th, 2010
The hair is brilliant, and I hope there’s some variation of paint on the K-9; I got that one with Rose in 2006
