4th Doctor & Classic Electronic TARDIS: Planet Of Evil

4tardis

This Doctor masked his brilliant and inventive mind behind a façade of bohemian eccentricity. The longest lived incarnation of the Doctors so far, he was forced to change his body after losing a fight with his old enemy the Master and falling from a radio telescope to the ground beneath him…

In this exclusive Fourth Doctor Set is the Fourth Doctor action figure with his classic Electronic TARDIS as they appear in the ‘Planet of Evil’. The Doctor comes in a red jacket with alternate head and Sonic Screwdriver accessory.

The TARDIS features opening doors, a spring activated right hand door and takeoff and landing light and sound effects.

Expected June 2010. You can pre order from Forbidden Planet Here

Actually, they could make a whole set dedicated to this Doctor. Each of the figures could be one of Baker’s different costumes. They could even do it for the other Doctors.

Character Options are really starting to annoy me now. Yet another re-release of this 4th Doctor. What they should have done is, make a Fourth Doctor figure from Tom’s final season. When he had the long red jacket and red scarf. That way we would have all 4th Doctor’s that were on screen.

Tom Baker was my Favorite Doctor or one of them. But he was the long serving Doctor to date. He still alive today & also most loved Doctor to date. I should get him too as the Figurine.

Is it just me or are they a little slow at making these electronic flight control TARDISES. Why have they started at ten and then seven and then Four. WHY?
Bring out the original and best TARDIS from the original 1963 series!

I’m thinking that CO have taken the picture and sent it to the FP Office, and we will be seeing the actual PoE Tom.

It’s not the end of the world if we don’t, it’s easy enough to make a custom.

Why’s it always coming out as an exclusive? These things are hard enough to get in Canada, now when they come out as “exclusives” the retailers who do import em can gouge us bigtime. *grumble grumble*

Wait wait wait. Is this thing for real or is it just like………….some unofficialish thing? Im puzzild because Dr Who Toys.Net has no News Updates to confirm this thing, and why would one be intrested in obtaining the 70s Tardis of which is drab and visually appauling and disorderly when one can just as easily be getting the 80s Tardis set with a Doctor figure unavailable elses where? And the Fourth Doc, who by all means is a great Doctor, is now being rereleased yet again in that accursed “The Arc In Space” costume of which I ABSOLUTELY DESPISE. That short Tomato-coloured coat and that little green tie which looks like a Limp decaying palm tree leaf. What the heck is goin on?

The only good things this can bring is:
    1. A TARDIS
    2. If the doctor heads are different to the past ones ( eg sombre with hat in, happy hatless)

The Tardis seems ok but that Tom is the 1st release and wrong for the planet of evil.

Presume this is a mock up promo image and the end release will be fine
