Experience The 3D is one of the UK’s only Silver Halide Holographic and 3D Lenticular exhibitions.
It is at present touring the UK, Beinging one of the most unique attractions in the county.
Due to popular demand, Experience The 3D, is at present putting on it’s first Dr Who, 3D Lenticular Special, which is being exhibited along with the rest of the holographic images in the exhibition.
They have commissioned 3D-CGI artist Claire Ladosu to create 8 lenticular images, based on the Dr Who theme.
These images are 20″ x 16″ and comprise of the following;
Cyberman, Dalek, Davros, Tardis (external), Tardis (internal), Sisters of plenitude, K9, Dalek (2d-3d conversion).
To produce a single range of collectors 3D images (for example the Cyberman image) may take 3D/CGI artist Claire Ladosu, over 300 hours to build the three-dimensional image in a 3D modelling program.
After a further 80 hours of tweaking and fine rendering, the computerised 3D model is image captured from 200 different angles, a process that will take up to one 60 hours to complete.
These images are then sent to there 3D conversion department.
Each of the products are individually printed, laminated, mounted, and finished by hand.
